A few days ago Ademar had escorted Ciara and the twins to the Castle while Kae raged and rampaged like a maelstrom through Raven's Crest. He had found her later at the Briar Rose Inn... well into her cups and attempted to bring her home... when the Lord General had 'threatened' him he went to find Pagan and Phantom, hoping they could bring her home.
He now was back to check on Ciara and his young cousin's.... he had a slight smile on his face... Pagan had told him how he had come to bring Kae to the camp.... he smiled knowing that when she woke and the fog of drink cleared she would be mad as hell.
Speaking to a knight that was on guard he explaining his reason to be there the guard showed him where Ciara and the twins were. As they walked he saw Kendrew and gave him a nod as he followed the other knight to a room.
Ciara was there swaying in front of the large window with Jelani in her arms... Garet was sleeping peacefully in a small cradle." Good day Lady Ciara... how fair you and the children?" he asked once he was at her side.
They talked and he told her Kae was well, and that with war coming it would be best for them to stay at the Castle.... and that the Lady of the Isle would most likely enjoy the chance to get to have time with her godchildren.
Half the day was gone by the time he left.. he had told her where they would be should she need anything.

Kae and her knight's having signed their names to the documents of war now headed for the mother to see her children.
She nodded to a guard that stood on the stairs and asked where her Ciara and children were... he said in the East Solar and led the way her knight's right behind her anxious to see the twins.
The moment they entered she ran to where her children lay upon a blanket in front of a large window enjoying the sun... they were old enough now to be bottle fed and not need her for their nurishment, she gentle scooped up Garet kissing his face and whispering soft words and she cried. Then laying him in the arms of Pagan she picked up Jelani and repeated the same with her.
Once done with greeting them she looked at Ciara..." I am sorry I behaved as I did, but pain and grief were strong ... I had no control. " she said as Ciara gave her a smile and a warm hug. " Lady there is naught to apologize for... you are human. I can naught imagine the pain you felt and must still feel, but know I cared for them and always will as if they were mine." the two woman hugged and a bond formed between them even stronger than the one that had been before.
The knight's played and cooed to the twins and could not get over how much they had grown..." Ciara... War is upon Skye once more and I have a duty to serve and protect once more.... keep my children safe as I know you will. Bess I am sure is thrilled ot have her godchildren about... " she could not finsh the rest for she did not want to think that something could happen and she would not return to her children. Bad enough that they will never know their father except for what she tells them.
They had spent the better part of the day in the solar with Jelani and Garet and now.... now they needed to go and prepare for what was to come.
She bid her children and Ciara farewell... her heart growing heavy once more, but it was for them and their future here in Skye that she was fighting for this time..... as well as her friends and their families.
One last kiss to them all and Kae and the Knight's left to return to the camp.

Beathag was thrilled to have her god-children about. To be precise, she had always enjoyed the company of the youngest citizens of any place. No matter how strong or hardened by the circumstance of olden times, the heart that lived inside of the Duchess was larger, gentler, than many ever knew. Often, when the tutors were done with their pupils or the knights giving lessons to young squires they would come to the Great Hall. Little girls with no more a head for chores than birds have to stay still on warm days found their way there too. When all assembled, it was a place of laughter and tales. Her golden hair was shaken loose from braids or binds by little fingers, her belly touched by curious hands, and all the while her face grew ruddy with health from the joy they gave her.
In the times that Eamonn and Aislin brought their children with them, she enjoyed giving them little gifts for no reason at all. Touches taken in fond passing stayed close to her heart. Indeed, it was a known truth that Aodhan's life was never devoid of her hand to hold his or the whim to play his games.
She was one among four, indeed, one of five siblings for Eamonn came to her laughter in life so that she had four siblings to remember. A long house in the moors by the sea had been filled with the generations. Her heart never wished for anything less than this: sounds in every room, the knowledge of life ongoing.
There was no one in the realms who loved the generations as much as she did.
It had come to her attention that Dame Urquhart had returned with the children she had delivered herself in tow. War was at hand, and she had made the choice to face the call of battle as was her warrior's due. How strange, the White Hound had laid down to become a lamb among savages. On this day, she went to the edge of the chamber's Kaelyn kept.
"Ah. Ye take a moment fer them, aye?"
