Anulia :Time was a wondrous thing when it came to learning and moving forward. Such was what the time in Avaria had done for Anulia. The day before the trip was to take place, Anulia had left a message with one of the men that Maahes trained, asking him to meet her within the fields where the sun shined the brightest and gold wove through the land. It was the best way she could describe to meet her in the field of wheat. Strands of the glorious plant rose so high that it reached even Maahes lower hips. The sun was fully awake as mid day drew near, sending warmth through the lands, guided by a gentle breeze. The smell of nature was all around, making few insects swarm and feast upon the plant life that was about. Beyond the stretched field of gold, the jungle beauty rested upon the back side of that massive elephant. Her hair had grown so long, that it trailed down the left side of the elephant's thick hide in soft waves of browns and onyx. Once more, she had shed the clothing of the Scottish and upon her body rested the threads of her people. Only enough material covered her, to hide that which made her a woman and upon her hips, two long strips of material moved down, exposing all over her hips, but hiding her rear and front from few as it should. Out here and upon the massive mammal, no one would ever bother her. Softly, as she lay on her back, she song her elephant a song in the tongue of the jungle. Whispers and sweet tones like the smallest of birds moved from her full lips as the animal feasted upon the sweet grass that he could find just near the fields. `` Lama tigu, mayi bandia. Ispo mayi, saun duemay.`` Eyes of chocolate had long since closed as she let the sun's rays spill on her flesh to warm her, feeling the elephant shift now and then.
Maahes: Perhaps it was the changing season riding the tail of the summer, or the fact the heat of the day was not ready to give up it's hold; but whatever it was saw to it the Arabic man kept true to his heritage. A decorated wrap hugged low on his hips, dark sandals of the leather snaked up his legs, but that would be all to cover the Beast. He felt free--free like the wind as it blew over the field, and free like the woman who found the words for a song in the solitude of an ocean of gold. Natures first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold. Her early leafs a flower; but only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. ~Robert Frost. Nothing could hold him back, as the afternoon had been cleared for the jungle beauty he had not spent enough time with. It was not like her to ask for him, or desire him to do anything other then what he was destined to do. So there was a hint of worry over his dark brow as he made his way closer. The long thick tendrils of his hair rest against his chest and down his back so perhaps he didn't feel as exposed as he should, but the feel of the sun against the bare of his chest could only raise spirits that had once been lost. Upon reaching the Elephant and his maiden he eased his steps raising a hand to rub behind the large ear in a gentle show of affection. Do not stop singing. He thought to himself as he rose to examine the face of the songbird.
Anulia: It was the time to go back to what one once was it seemed. Anulia, was becoming confused as she tried to blend more and more with the Scottish heritage and it was starting to make her feel, not like herself. It had been fascinating at first, all the wonders coming in so quickly that she found herself wanting to try everything. Some would say she was trying to find her place, but it had been trying to look at new things in a good light. Avaria, had changed that some how... it had made her sad and happy, made her remember those that she had lost. A talk, with an older male' who's back twisted within his flesh and legs grew almost too thin for him to stand on, had been an awakening. What price of coin was given to lose yourself? What makes them so great, that did not make your own people that much more greater? Nothing. Both worlds were wonderful on their own terms, but Scotland had many people to keep their heritage going and Anulia's people were dead. All of them, but her. One...left after so many. The fields hid that steps that upon stone, could not have been missed. Chocolate eyes were closed and while she was completely at ease, she did not seem to notice Maahes moving closer, for her Elephant knew the male and was not as startled as it would have been with someone else. One slender hand caressed the harden hide by her side while Komor, as she called the elephant, turned his head slightly, pushing the grass into his mouth with that massive trunk as Maahes gave him affections. His tusk, were as long as Maahes' arm and nearly as thick, but he was gentle as his trunk reached out for one of Maahes' twisted dreads to give it a soft tug. Anulia's voice lifted softly as she felt the lands sway different and the air shift. She knew, someone was there, but did not startle as her elephant was calm. For a few more moments, she went on with her song, until it ended with her mouth parting and the soft cry moving out into the air as her story came to a dramatic ending. Death, never sounded so beautiful in words before. The sun seemed to shine just a bit brighter as if wanting to comfort before chocolate eyes opened and her head turned to lay her cheek upon that rough back so she was nearly staring Maahes in the eyes. `` Afternoon Maahes``
Maahes: Over the rough flesh of the elephant he let his hands roam moving to face the Beast head on, and even a laugh would trickle out once the animal pulled on his hair. "Always.." He muttered to her friend as if questioning his infatuation with his hair. "Princess." He spoke in return to the Jungle Beauty as he made his way back around to find those mocha eyes. "Is everything all right?" Though he did not speak her language he could understand the meaning just by way of emotion. Her cries in the end stilled his flesh and took hold of his heart. Was she in pain? Pain of the heart for he had not noticed any torn flesh or bruised skin. One hand would raise from the hide of the animal to the small little obsession he had with her ankles. The tender flesh of her barefoot was smoothed softly with perhaps hands that felt much like the Elephant. "Something troubles you.." That was a question and statement rolled into one, but it did not take a Healer to know there was something missing in her eyes.
Anulia: Princess was such a strange word to her, as was the title and meaning of it. Anulia had no idea that some, used it to decorate a cherished female in their life. Was every thing alright? Anulia did not know. Was she happy? Yes, of course she was. Was she un-injured? Yes, she was well. Eyes drifted down the line of his body, seeing the attire he held, and the flash of a memory came flooding back to her, sending images and feelings back in the instant of a breath. Lids fluttered, lacing dark lashes together as she felt the touch to her ankles and this time, she showed what it felt to her. The elephant's skin was rough, as was Maahes, but different. Touch, did not always mean desire or lust. Touch was a comfort. Anulia's eyes opened as she pressed one slender hand out, reaching her finger tips along his shoulder, before dragging them softly and slowly down his arm to feel the muscles twitch. `` I am well. I had. ..an awakening of sorts. I am dressed and doing as my people..those of the jungle did. I can not cloak myself in the Scottish culture as others can... and I am the last of my tribe. I had..forgotten that Maahes. I had forgotten myself and my purpose. `` Moving to sit up, she shifted her muscular legs, letting them dangle over the side and in front of Maahes's face and chest. `` Do you remember, how I use to sing to you? The words, were different, but the meaning never changed. Do you know why I sing and to whom? Only those that I trust, do I sing to Maahes. Only those that I trust, deserve to see me so open and vulnerable. I tell you this, because I fear you have forgotten, what you mean to me in all my life times. I fear I have never known, what I mean to you. ``
Maahes: For once he would not pull away from her touch, nor remove himself for gaining more. This had been coming a long time, and he would not let his childish fears stand in the way of completing what answers she would gain. She swung her legs, and he would take hold of both feet then placing them against his shoulders as he leaned against the elephant. "What purpose is that, Zunairah. All of our life we have known so little about each other, but were paired together for what?" The palms of his hands slid over the top of her foot up the gentle skin of her legs stopping just midway between knee and ankle. "You are not the last of your Tribe Anulia..not yet." He would take a deep breath then and closed his eyes as he pressed the side of his face against her shin. "Have I failed you?" Like so many. There had been a struggle there that not a soul knew about, with him and Avaria. Tommy and Avaria. The hurt in Tommy's eyes when he left. Not a drop of sadness would enter his features but the smooth calm that this woman had always brought. Hell he could fall asleep right here even standing as he was if he felt the need. Sucking in air in his massive chest he opened his eyes again to look her in the face once more. "Anulia, you mean very much to me." (d
Anulia: The clean flesh of her legs shifted along the side of the massive beast so that heels could press gently along Maahes broad shoulders. Komor did not seem to mind at all and had infact went back to grazing and with his height, Maahes was in no danger of being too close to the womanhood which made her so different from him. The touch with Maahes, had been lost for so long, that she felt chills deep within her skin now, as he graced her with it. So long.. and it was worth every bit of patience she had given. What purpose? Many..but she had not answered yet, for his next question, would make her heart twist softly. Had he failed her? Her body leaned forward, reaching out both hands towards his face, which amde her lean down more on his shoulders, using them to prop her rear against the elephant. For the first time, she was able to cup his face with her hands, letting finger tips caress his flesh and the smooth skin that was found there. The hairs along his face that woven a pattern about his lips, pricked her fingers, but she found enjoyment, not pain like a thorn. `` Maahes... you have never failed me. It is I.. who has failed you. When you needed me the most, when you needed that softness in your life..I was gone. I have never called upon you, and I have tried to not ask you for anything but what you wanted to give. I have not asked you to come here, to talk of how you have failed me my lion. I have come..to give you another form of love. `` How she wanted to hold him in her arms and nuzzles her face to his. `` My time..grows short Maahes. I can feel it, deep within my soul. We.. are not like them.. we will never be like them, but that does not mean, we can not love them just as much. `` It was almost as if she spoke in riddles. `` Maahes.. you are nearly complete as a great man, but you are missing one thing and it is so important. Love. The love, of a wife. The love..of a child. These are gifts..we could not have in the past and now..we keep them from ourselves, when we could have them, because we feel we are not worthy of any one's love. It is time Maahes... it is time..to leave those things in the past. `` Her fingers caressed his cheek as she held his face so gently, like butterfly wings wrapped around it. `` Leave me behind Maahes. take away the chains of a bound mate and find love. Mate...for love alone, not because you feel you need to keep a promise long since made. You can not keep me safe forever Maahes.. and you must have a life of your own before your soul decides to leave your body. I offer you freedom....freedom to find love. `` Despite the tears in her eyes, she smiled. She was not un happy, but joyious, knowing that Maahes, could find love now. `` It is time, you see your worth as I, and others have seen. ``
Maahes: "You don't understand Anulia, you speak of your tribe as you are the last. How can I turn away from you? A child would be the last, but then their's, and theirs. So no the line is not broken." He reached up for her, and simply pulled her away from the elephant and against him. "I do not love you as a husband should. Or a man should, I do not desire your body as an object that is my own." Spoken as her feet touched the ground and his hands slowly trailed the outline of her hips, "I have put this off for far too long." He chuckled lightly at her mention of love and freedom. "I'm not the kind of man who sees love as a gift, or is it something I can take the time for. My life is spent around battles, what kind of life would that be to offer my wife? Would she not spend all of her time with worry?" His hand rose to clean away the tears she shed. "It is an understanding now that we have..you are as free as I. What happens in our lives however will never replace the love and respect I have for you. I want you happy before I can find my own." He wrapped his arms around her and pressed his cheek to her own leaning his face into her. "What would make you happy, Princess?" (d
Anulia: Chocolate colored eyes drifted upwards for a moment, letting the sun help dry the tears so they would not spill. She did not want Maahes getting the wrong impression. A child...Anulia did not think her path would lead her there. both feet shifted so that when Maahes brought her from the elephant and against him, her feet dangled until they reached the soft grass and both arms moved around his thick neck, only to shift as she felt the earth take her weight, so that she could hold his waist, or attempt at it. Anulia always knew, somewhere deep inside, that Maahes did not love her as a lover, but that did not break her heart. Why should it? He still loved her..but not in that form and it did not make it any less powerful. Anulia's shining smile was there to greet his words and in her eyes, there was happiness. No hidden pain, no hurt she was trying to hide. No heartbreak of any kind left behind as their understanding came out. `` One day Maahes, you will have it, but it will not be as you expected. My path..will not lead me there that I can see. I am happy still... I am loved still, no matter what and that is fine for me. That is all I need to be happy. To breath and be unbound from chains of another. You..will always be my lion. Nothing will change that and I will still hold you high, above all others in a light that has no titles. I do love and respect you Maahes, and I always will. No matter what you do in life, my back will nevr turn towards you. `` Eyes closed as she was finally able to nuzzle the soft side of her face against his more firm face. The hair on his beard tickled her, but she held back the laughter. `` Your ever lasting friendship and trust.. I can not live without. I would be happy, to see you hold a child of your own, before my time is lost here. `` Anulia did not tell Maahes, that she was destined to become a slave once more.... it was simply how things would be, for that time was coming soon. He did not need to know that and worry. Hopefully, he would be away when that happened for she did not want him hurt.
Maahes:"Then you are free from me Anulia. I will not hold any of the chains that bind you by my hands." He smiled curling his arm around her hip and lifting her chin. "I have never told you how thankful I have been all of these years that you have been a part of my life. I am thankful that when we were placed together you were brave enough to understand, and when we found each other again that you are still willing to understand, but I will not deny you your legacy if a child is what you want. This I owe you, but.." He would smile then his lips starting at the edges of his mouth until it spread his lips. "I would like to see you grow more, as I have grown here. As always anything I have earned is of yours, your home where I am, but if you would like to take that coin and travel I will not be far." Lord General paid well, enough to support his own land, support his own hobbies and fuel an entire fleet if she would need it.
Anulia: `` You speak as if it is I that wishes to be free of you? Maahes, that is not what I mean when I say these things. I want you happy and free yourself. I am fine where ever I am, as long as you are in my life. Please, do not forget that. `` Eyes closed slowly at the feeling of his larger fingers upon her soft skin. Their tones, were so similar and close, covered in scars from the cruelty of others. Chocolate eyes opened to look back up at him where he seemed so far away. The words of a animalistic male, were worth more then any coin she could learn of. `` Maahes.. I do not have need to travel unless it is for an adventure. My home is here with you and those among Skye. I will be staying here, not returning to the jungle. `` Hands drifted along his arms as she was pressed so close to his body that she could feel the heat from exposed flesh. Scars, matched upon their wrist, though there were some differences such as the name carved into his flesh, or had once been and the searing of a bird, branded into Anulia's inner forearm. `` None of the things I do for you shall change. I will still re-twist your hair, for that is something I started a long time ago. You are still my lion..my Maahes and I will still hold you like no other. I do not wish to be your burden and have you worry that you are not full filling your duties as my mate. This..will give way for a bonding, we choose yes? No longer, will we keep the chains of the past to say what we are to each other. Now..we will choose what we will become. `` Leaning forward, she pressed the softest kiss upon his left peck muscle that was short lasting. It was the closes thing to her since he face was so far away with their height difference. `` Come.. I want you to experience what it is like to ride Komor. He may be the only beast in the land that can bare your weight without a second thought!`` The softest of teasing, of course she meant no harm to it!
