In the books and scrolls, scribes would write of the times wherein the history of one place converged with another to foster the ideal of a different entity. That something could rise...
"These are the embers being turned over, consuming the logs to make a flame."
An annual's page would begin this way, and continue on:
" I have compiled the talk of the people in these pages. Let them, then, tell the story of the clans that rose and ones that fell. Of people forming an unsual assembly, and how Skye came to be what it is known for now."

Those that had lived here all their lives would watch as the 'newcomers' arrived under the standard of a Griffon... tales had been heard of how they fought to save their people against the English.
Their bravery was spoken of as well and the wondering of their pasts... from all different places this band of warriors, knights, and noblity... and yet somehow they formed bonds that no one could break.... especially the English Army.
Their stories will be written here as well for the future of the Isles to read...[/i][/color]

" Let it be heard through out the Isles that these brave newcomers... many not from this land have fought for this country and the people that live here They did it with honor, and let them be given the repsect deserved for doing what many did not... stand for what they believed in ... Scotland.... a free Scotland"

" Unrest grows at a rapid rate among the clans of the Isle... not all are happy about having a new Duke and Dutchess ruling in 'their' lands.
Plots and deceptions are woven in careful threads... though those that came with Lord and Lady Aberdeen rally behind them to support and defend.
Time is at hand to find out who is ones friends and who are foes...
Let us pray for a victorious outcome for Skye as well as her people."

"Many have gone to fight at the farthest corners of the Isle of Skye.. to make it safe and to bring peace... there are those that would see the new 'ruling ' hands fall as well as those that lend strength to them.
United they leave the Capital City of Turas Lan with one purpose... PEACE for ALL! it will be hard to divide these Warriors, Knight's and Archers from all walks of life and from many countries. Some will return others will not.... those that die in battle are truly brave and those that survive are braver yet for they shall be the ones to carry on with the memories of brothers, sisters, friends, lovers.. into the future of an unknown destiny.
Hail the brave ones and May GOD bless you all!!"

" The battles for now are over. Those who came back mourn those that did not. The dead shall be remembered and honored, their families taken care of and support is given.
Those that made it back try once more to find peace within themselves and each other.
Life begin's anew with the spring... Wedding's celebrated, birth's yet to be rejoiced in.
May God grant the brave that faught and those that remained behind peace to quietly reflect and hope for a future that they all deserve..."
