Peregrin Shakye: He had sent her a letter, one titled The stars in the sky, and placed it against the silk of the pillow in which he used to sleep. So that when she woke, and greeted the day with ice blue eyes it would be waiting. Come to the shores my love, leave your shoes. A simple letter, from a well tailored man. The Pirate would look less like a thief, and more the part of a gentleman. Fabrics that complimented his features, and fit his frame well were pristine, and clean. The morning was promising to start a perfect day, with a clear sky and a sunrise on display. (d
Danae Galanos: Danae would finally begin to stir from the nap she had so desperately needed. After having a nice bath, a fresh change of clothes and now much needed rest, the ranger was emerging as a new woman. Sleepy eyes would spot the letter and she sat up, suddenly worried as a simular sight was taken in and bringing forward a memory. One where Perry had left her... she swallowed hard, and glanced about, suddenly reminded just where she was and slowly relaxing. He couldn't leave her while she was on his ship now could he? The letter was plucked from place and read, smiling and nodding as she quickly moved off to meet him where he had asked. Leaving her shoes behind as requested, she moved down along the shore line. Hair whipping aimlessly about as the sea breeze that came and went like the tides that rolled in and out.-d-
Peregrin Shakye: There were many people on the shores already collecting shells as they chased the tide, but suddenly he felt so very alone. Watching her walk up, the rest of the world disappeared as if whipped away by those long strands of chocolate."You could have left your clothes too." He spoke with a grin loud enough for the rest to hear, but only if they were paying attention. Free, wild and untamed could describe this heart, but anymore the words only fit his hair. His heart was claimed, though there wasn't enough string in the world that could keep those strands down. Blonde curls danced over his shoulders with ease passing his face and cupping his chin. As the distance between them was and before she could answer, his palms claimed her cheeks and lips took hold her lips. "Though.." He smirked once the kiss parted, "I am in no mood to fight today." Danae Galanos: Icy blue hues glanced about as others had already made their plans for the day by gathering shells and spending their morning by the sea. The distance between she and Perry quickly closed when he was spotted and he would speak loud enough where his words would and could be heard by all. Once close enough she gave a playful swat to his body, not really aiming for a certain place. Then he came to cup her face and locked lips, instantly taking her breath away while she began to slowly melt into his frame. Her arms wrapping around him and when he added not wishing to fight, she smirked as while lifting a dark brow. "I would have thought you to like the idea of having your day start with a fight." Danae teased.-d-
Peregrin Shakye: When he smiled his entire face smiled, as a matter of fact his entire being beamed from deep inside radiating with life and love. Yeah, he was just a happy-go-lucky guy, but that only comes with being secure in yourself. "Not the kind of fight that requires more work then I'm willing to give at the moment. Besides, that is your old lover, this one prefers the no clothes on battles." Lacing his fingers with hers he would pull her to walk the lines of the tide with him. "but I have not asked you here today to compare notes..I have something I wanted to ask you." (d
Danae Galanos: Danae absolutely loved it when Perry smiled, as his entire being beamed, it would radiate such life and love that it was contagious. She had been in much better spirits since the two of them had been together and it was a nice change. Danae would chuckle with his reply and nodded before poking his side with a single digit. Their fingers laced and he pulled her along to walk with him. It didn't take much to have her follow as she would happily comply and move off with him. Both brows did arch though when he said he had something to ask her. Thinking it was going to be one of his silly questions and waiting for it so she could laugh, she asked. "Oh...and what is that? Where and when will our next trip be to and when will we set sail?" asked with a grin. -d-
Peregrin Shakye: Releasing her hand he placed his own in his pockets and still facing the rising sun."Let's get Avaria back on track, M'love and we'll go wherever you want, it will be our honeymoon." The smile faded from his face, but it was not gone just simply giving the features a break. Lost in the dawning light his eyes looked green as the yellow light filled the ocean blue. "We should visit Apollo's Queen soon, I feel we need to protect her honor." What was he talking about? Turning his face to return to her he took a deep breath. (d
Danae Galanos: Her hand was released and both his found his pockets while he continued to gaze at the rising sun. He spoke on getting Avaria back on track and Danae couldn't agree more. However, she grinned when he spoke about a trip being their honeymoon, thinking nothing more of it as one of his jestering comments. Her eyes narrowed though when he mentioned visiting Apollo's Queen and needing to protect her honor. That had her wondering what he meant by that and she moved to stand closer to him, a hand coming to rest at the small of his back. "Perry, what is it you mean by that? Is there something you expect to happen? Do you know something I have yet to learn?" The Commander asked as he turned to face her once more. -d-
Peregrin Shakye: "I don't know anything for fact, but I have my suspicions" His heart stilled when her hand rose to him. It was proof she cared, and proof he needed. "Danae, how much do you love me? Because if it is not on the same level as my own then you need to hurry up." He grinned again, returning his eyes to her. "because I am not a very patient person." His hand came to loop around her hips between the arm she held him with. "I have not told you much of me, but I have given you everything that I have to give, would that be enough?" (d
Danae Galanos: While Perry had turned to face her, Danae stayed as she was, having her hand now resting at his side. He answered but then had his own question it seemed. That questioned worried her, he was doubting her love for him. "Perry... I would not think you needed to ask, but I will give you your answer." She paused and looked to each of his eyes as he returned his gaze to her. "I would give my life for you ... and nearly did once. Then, I did not know why...but now I know exactly why I did it." His grin and the addition of words had her smiling softly to him. His arm finding itself about her waist and she moved into him. "Patience is a virtue." She teased but then her lips parted and a quick lick was made to moisten them before going on. "As far as you not telling me much of yourself... I think you will when you are ready. I accept you for who you are now Perry ... no one will have me thinking of you differently for things you did in your past." Danae grew quiet a moment. "The past is the past, it is important but not nearly as much as the present and the future. So yes... I think what you have given me so far is enough." Her head canted and she nodded a bit. Her hand finding his back again and giving a soft comforting rub. -d-
Peregrin Shakye: "Even if it meant you could not have all of my heart?" He spoke so quietly tightening his arm encase she were to pull away before he could explain. "Danae I have walked this world a very long time, and have been married before. She is dead to me, but I have not been able to move on completely. I have broken many hearts for that very reason. I get so close to another's heart and realize it is not what I want." He took a deep breath and lowered his head. "I tell you this now, because I've never ever come this close to feeling complete. It is the closest I've ever come to feeling what I did, and I beg you if you do not feel the same, please let us end this now." He watched his feet for a moment before raising his eyes to meet hers. (d
Danae Galanos: Perry tightened his hold on her as he asked his question and Danae sighed before answering him. "Before I can answer your question you must answer mine." Her own eyes finding the sand before lifting and looking to his face again. "Am I what you want?" She asked as her brows seem to meet, expressing the deep concern and worry. Her jaw twitched with the flexing of muscles as she awaited his reply. "I need to know Perry if this is going to be more than what either of us are thinking." Those brows would relax but soon arched as she expected hurt from a forth coming answer, like preparing herself for the worse. -d-
Peregrin Shakye: "I've never known what I've wanted, it's why I don't care. This is the wrong in me, is that I could not care what I do, but I find myself thinking of you even when you are not here. When you sleep I miss you, and when I dream I miss you more. So yes, I want you, but if I am able to keep you I cannot say. So if you want out I will understand." (d
Danae Galanos: Danae moved so that she was now standing in front of him. "So in saying that you do want me.. you are also saying you now care...?" She asked. Danae swallowed the lump in her throat. "Perry... I love you... I did even before I realized it. I know that may not make sense but looking back now on some of the things I said and have done, my loving you is the only reason for those actions and words. I think of you always, when I am awake, when I am asleep, when I am next to you or when we are apart. You are always, always in my thoughts." Her eyes began to water up. "So if you want me then yes.. you are able to keep me. If you do not want me, tell me now and I will walk away before it becomes to hard for me to do so later." More moisture began to collect in her eyes, making them appear glassy and again her jaw tightened, preparing to be let go. -d-
Peregrin Shakye: The water soon pooled around his thighs as he fell to his knees before her. The tide rushed his body, and in the very moment one could define the man by this single action. To take him on, was like joining the sea. The open water like his heart, large and full of life. The palms of his hands came to either side of her legs stopping midway between the earth's surface and her thigh. "Then marry me.." Water pooled in the already oceanic surface of his own eyes as he saw her tears begin. "If you truly mean what you say, that you will love me no matter what, then.." From the breast pocket of his jacket he pulled a silk lined box, and he rose to one knee the white foam of the sea still passing over his body with the sun rising at his back. "say yes." Opening the box inside was a single stone of what would be at the time a rare and precious jewel. The eye of all Scorpios a fiery opal that represented what could be eternity burning together in the flames of desire and love. It did not sparkle when the light touched it, no but the stone came alive with veins of the brightest gold, and Celtic knot work on each side wove together to encase the stone. He was not a traditional man, so of course she would not have a traditional ring. It would simply be what he felt fit her the most, thoughts and ideas all scrambled together until he found the perfect stone. As he waited for her reply a small smile crossed his pale pink lips as his nerves showered through his face.
Danae Galanos: Water seem to rush in and pool around them as Danae looked to his eyes as if searching for an indication of what was to come. He fell to his knees and she looked down to him with her brows knitted together. The ranger felt his hands come to rest at either side of her legs, stopping at her thighs. Her own hands had come to rest at her sides, hands balling up into loose fists and fingers flexing and curling as her nerves were tested. Danae nervous? Never, but waiting to hear him give his answer was killing her. Then Perry said three little words that had both of those dark brows rising in shock. The features of her face showed a mixture of expressions; fear, concern, surprise, love, and shock. Never did she think she could feel so many things all at once as those tears she was holding back were released, spilling more when she saw his own. She swallowed hard, blinked a few times and her lips parted as if getting ready to reply but not yet able to find her voice. Her words were put on hold as her eyes caught sight of him pulling out the box and opening it, revealing the jewled ring within. She gasped, her hand coming to her chest and she seem to choke on her tears. Those icy blue hues shifted from the ring to his eyes and back before closing her eyes and nodding. Only then did she fall to her own knees and cup his face as her eyes found his. "Yes.... yes I will marry you Perry." She would finally answer with a unsteady voice. Danae smiled, only to then lean in and give him one of the most passionate filled kisses he may ever come to know while arms wrapped around him and she hugged him.
