Kiley: : ::Kiley had stopped at the marketplace again to purchase a few things. She stood in front of a vendor who was selling seeds, and looked thoughtfully over the selection. Long blonde hair was plaited into two braids, and the gown she wore was simple, pale pink in color. Again she was barefoot, with a little bracelet made of flowers around her ankle::
Jonas: The end of the day had come and he had gone back to the Golden Harp and had found her gone. A few questions told him she had gone to the market and so he had quickly bathed and changed and left again to seek her out. And now he was wandering the semi crowded market keeping an eye out for her and perhaps a few things he might like to get while here.
Kiley: ::Smiling, she paid the vendor and moved along, browsing. People sold food here too, but she could always make her own at the tavern. The basket swung on her wrist as she literally skipped along the dusty path. There was something innocent about the lass and almost childlike sometimes, and she well knew it::
Jonas: The skipping was what drew his attention to her and then a grin when he realized it was just the person he sought. Slowly and carefully he began to stalk her, following her path pausing in the shadows to speak to this vendor or that, even making a purchase or two as he followed her.
Kiley: ::Kiley didn't notice him right off the bat, and kept going along her merry way. But she did feel eyes on her, and stopped to look nervously over her shoulder from time to time, biting her lip::
Jonas: He saw the nervous bite of her lip and smiled softly before sneaking up behind her and wrapping one arm around her waist, and one over her eyes and whispering in her ear. " Guess Who?"
Kiley: Oh..::The word was a soft sigh as she took his hand from her eyes and kissed the back of it, body relaxing:: 'Tis ye..ye could have said somethin', I nearly jumped out o' me skin! ::She leaned back against him and raised her head so she could look up into his face::
Jonas: He grinned and kissed her neck. " Mmm bu' tha' is half th' fun." He chuckled and nuzzled there a moment before offering her his arm to be her escort for the night.
Kiley: ::She was only too happy to give him her free arm, and glanced to the basket on the other one:: Look what I got, seeds! ::She displayed them proudly:: I'm goin' to start me own flower garden on the side o' the tavern! What do ye think?
Jonas: He looked into the basket and smiled. " I think tis a goo' idea, especially since ye love flowers sae much." He bent to kiss her cheek unable to resist. He had gotten something for her as he had followed her but he would not give it to her yet.
Kiley: I thought it was a good idea too. I know I have enough to do with cookin' an' everythin', bu' I can surely find time fer a garden too. Did ye go to the Golden Harp lookin' fer me? I should have left a note.
Jonas: He nodded. " Aye I did bu' someone there saw ye headed towards the Market sae I followed ye. I did nae want tae wait for ye tae come back to see ye." He had missed her during his training that day, had felt her abscence deep in his heart through out the day. If she did not have to work at the Harp he would have insisted she come with him and watch.
Kiley: ::She kissed his cheek softly, smiling at him:: I know. I love ye, and feel it keenly when ye leave. ::Lacing her fingers through his, content to just walk along with him:: Did ye wan' to head back to the tavern?
Jonas: " Nae unless ye are ready tae. " he smiled then looked beyond with a thought. " Tis a nice night, would ye like tae gae tae th' beach or are ye needed back a' th' tavern?"
Kiley: I'm nae needed. Tha's a better idea, let's go. ::She beamed at him:: Though ye will have to lead the way. How far is it?
Jonas: He smiled. " Tis nae far, half a mile perhaps." He answered. As they walked he would pause at a vendor and purchased them a bottle of wine, some fruits a single wine glass and some finger foods and a blanket. this he settled atop her seeds in the basket then took the basket from her to carry for her.
Kiley: Wha's all tha' fer? ::A curious eye looked over the additional things in the basket, and a slight smile played about her lips. Was he up to something?::
Jonas: But of course he was. He grinned at her secretively. " Wait and see Lass." He said as he lead her away from the market and towards the shores of Skye.
Kiley: ::Well now she was impatient, and hated waiting. But she'd wait because he told her to, walking along with him..still just bursting to ask, but holding it in::
Jonas: He chuckled guessing at her struggle. Soon they had reached the sand and he would pause to help her out of her shoes and he would take his off too and dug his bare toes into the sun warmed sand. " Mmm tha' feels good." He looked towards her to see her expression.
Kiley: ::She settled herself on the sand, wiggling her toes too, struck by the beauty she saw out this way. For a moment thoughts of that made her forget her impatience. The salt-sprayed breeze tickled her face and she closed her eyes with a smile::
Jonas: He watched her and smiled warmly, tenderly. " Come Love, its just a little further this way." He pointed to their left the location hidden by shrubbery and some trees.
Kiley: : ::Cheerfully enough Kiley got up, taking his hand and walking with him, her expression curious again:: Why this particular spot?
Jonas: He chuckled. " Ye will see when we ge' there." He lead her towards the outcropping of brush and trees and then beyond where there was a cliff. Around its edge he lead her untill suddenly they were in a little aclove, quiet and private far enough back that when the tide came in they would not be in danger but close enough that they could feel the spray of the waves when they came rolling in, light as it was.
Kiley: ::She gasped, not expecting such a place, and stared in awe for a moment:: 'Tis lovely! An' so secluded too..::Smiled as she could feel the spray on her skin, bringing Jonas' hand up to her face and lightly kissing the palm::
Jonas: He smiled and stroked her cheek with his fingers. ' Ye like it then? Twas worth the wait?"
Kiley: Aye, very much so. ::Adoring eyes kept staring at her surroundings, and she nestled herself against it. It seemed the perfect spot..for anything, really:: How did ye find it?
Jonas: " I like tae wander when I need tae think. I have had alo' tae think abou' these past few weeks and stumbled upon it. Never knowing tha' i would have someone tae share i' with." He bent his head to kiss her softly then gently pulled away to take out the blanket and spread it in the sand out of the reach of the waves then settled the basket on it before turning to hold his hand out to her.
Kiley: ::Kiley curiously took hold of his hand, settling herself on the blanket and smoothing her skirt, subconsciously biting her lip..but her expression was now utterly calm and serene::
Jonas: He chuckled and lay down beside her on his side and faced her so he could watch her expressions. Then rummaged in the basket for the finger foods and plucked a few out offering her a bite, holding it between his fingers for her to take with her mouth.
Kiley: ::Take the food with her mouth she did, also purposely drawing his finger between her lips and slowly sliding along it. When her lips moved in reverse, she kissed the tip of his finger softly::
Jonas: " mmmm Remind me tae keep daeing tha', and more often." He lifted his gaze to hers, his eyes warm and tender as he offered her another bite, fully content to feed her.
Kiley: ::She took it again, laughing very softly at his remark:: If ye are so fond of tha' bein' done to yer fingers, perhaps ye would be more pleased if I moved lower to do it. ::Grinning to herself::
Jonas: His breath caught and his eyes met hers. His voice when it came was husky as he imagined what he thought she meant. " If ye wish tae Lass I think I would die and gae tae heaven all over again."
Kiley: I am sure ye would, if ye liked tha' as much as our lovemakin'. ::She bit her lip again, though this time it was not for worry but mischief. She snuggled closer to him and placed a few chaste but insistent kisses to his neck::
Jonas: He murmured softly and smiled wrapping his arms around her, giving up on the food for the moment in place of far more interesting things.
Kiley: ::She would caress him through his clothing..but for now this was all. Her hand moved to fondle him through his breeches but she would not take things all the way this time. There was no need for sexual activity every night and she truly loved him for him, not just his body::
Jonas: He felt the same way and had not intended for tonight to become intimate between them. He did groan a little though as she caressed him through his britches. He leaned towards her and kissed her lips softly. " I love you Kiley, more and more with each passing moment."
Kiley: I love ye too..::She smiled tenderly at him, returning that kiss gently, unwilling to pull back as her arms encircled him and she sighed::
Jonas: He smiled and held her close to him his fingers idly rubbing her slender back. " mmm I could spend th' rest of m'days just holding ye. " She was a perfect fit against his body as if they were meant to fit together like a puzzle piece.
Kiley: ::She smiled, leaning against him and closing her eyes:: I could too..I love ye. ::Another brief thought, but she pushed it away, content to just rest on him::
Jonas: He was watching her closely and so when she paused as if thinking on something he prodded gently. " Wha' is on yer mind love?" Rolling her to her back and leaning over her and looking down into her pretty features.
Kiley: It's jus'..very pretty here..it's an ideal place to make love to ye, bu' I almost feel as though 'tis sacred an' I shouldn'. ::Looking to him, hoping he'd know what she meant, as her gaze slid upward to stare at the water::
Jonas: He smiled at that. " There are many ways of making love. And aye I feel th' same. As much as I would love to make love tae ye, this place is sacred and special." He sat up and spread his legs out then guided her to sit between them resting her back to his chest while his arms slid around her holding her. He kissed the side of her neck softly then pointed to the setting sun as his own gaze moved in that direction whispering softly in her ear. " If ye listen verra closely ye migh' hear the hiss of th' sun as it sinks intae th' water." It was a glorious brilliant orb slowly sinking into the horizon, its red gold light dancing on the water's surface.
Kiley: I never knew it made a noise. ::She listened rapturously, ecstatic to be so comfortable in his arms there. Even clasping her hands together and tilting her head, waiting, as eager as a child on Christmas morning:: Can ye really hear it?
Jonas; "Shhh love or ye will miss it." He whispered, growing very quiet and very still even closing his eyes as he listened as he had been taught to do when he was aught but a boy. In the stillness, even the waves seemed to grow silent, and just as the sun's edge touched the watery horizon there seemed to be a low distant hissing sound. Wheather it was one's imagination or if it actually happened was anyone's guess.
Kiley: ::She held her breath when he said she might miss it. She didn't even want her breathing to be too loud. Maybe she imagined she heard it, but her head tilted a fraction more anyway, and her eyes grew round as half-dollars. She said nothing, still unsure if she had heard correctly::
Jonas: He smiled feeling her wonder and surprise in the movement of her body. He dipped his head and kissed her neck and whispered unwilling to break the spell. "Tis as beautiful and rare as ye are."
Kiley: Nonsense. 'Tis far prettier than I am. Why, jus' look at it an' ye'll know ye speak blarney. ::She nestled her head in the curve of his neck, breathing a soft sigh against it. It would be very easy, she thought to herself, to fall asleep here in his arms::
