Apollo- Apollo had been in this particular Inn for nearly ten hours, sitting at the bar chatting with a string of veteran soldiers. They were having a jolly time, and at the guards' shift change, the majority had gotten up to leave. Shaking several forearms, Talion tried to stand and give proper farewells, but found his stance needed a chair to sustain itself. He waved them all out, and found his seat again. ``Let's get another'n up 'ere. I am feelin' alil' heavy.`` He slid his empty tankard toward the other side of the bar.
Anulia of Amora- Despite her new ward, Anulia found time to work. She had to, for coins and the things she needed in life. Nothing was free as they said though Anulia had the honor of always having a place to live, or so she hoped. The tavern was mildly busy tonight. Many from sleat were around the village looking for work or looking to spend what coin they had to ease the pain of loss and get them ready for a new day. The first part of the shift had been used wandering around to give those sitting at tables their foods and now she had found shelter behind the bar where it seemed the king, Apollo was also. There were points when she listened to the conversation with interest and then times when she left the men alone. Hair had been wrapped up with a bit of cloth to keep it from getting into other's food while the dress was a normal style of tenders wear. Seeing Apollo rise, she moved to say far well only to see him stumble and sit back down, asking for another. Anulia's beaming smile would be his reward as she took the mug and pulled it to her to refill it. Who was she to question. ``I see you are in need of sleep yes? If you continue to drink, that is destination you will find.``
Eirian- Life went on no matter what occurrences one might face. As it could be said, the world did not stop for one man, only God. The night was met with a bustle before the Briar Rose Inn as tragedy bolstered an economic prosperity for the merchants selling timber, thatch, horse hoof glue, stones, anything that could be transported back to the south to make new homes, businesses, and docks. The Welsh woman marveled at the audacious spirit seeping into the capital city. From the bitter would come the sweet, to which Eirian interjected for no one imparticular, "Let the times ahead be better than what is known now." Slippered feet did well to stay away from the puddles from recent rains, or the boisterous, backslapping folly of men tottering off into the alleyways. Rose's establishment pulled her in with promise of shelter, drink, and substance for the belly after a day of returning to too long neglected duty.
Apollo- ``Nah, I've had more ale than the oceans have sea water.. that I can garuntee, and not once have I fallen over asleep.`` He said, eyeing the younger one with a damnably handsome grin. Apollo reached out for the tankard while scratching the under side of his bearded chin. `` 'sides.. ya'll have some real good, but cheap ale; my usual would knock over a horse.`` He glanced back when the door opened and the little bell jangled. His vision was blurry, and whoever had come in was swaying, or must have had a twin.
Caden- Caden trotted down the road with Anna on his heels. A book in his hand held secure so it would not fall as he moved swiftly. What was their hurry? Naught but the thought of food and drink and perhaps some familiar faces. The young Knight had not had much time for just relaxing as of late, between escorting and other duties, plus his studies. And so he had one rare night to do as he wished and tonight his wish was to sit at the Briar Rose, down an ale or two, and feast on some good stew, and perhaps say hello to Anulia whom he had not seen in what seemed like ages.
Anulia of Amora- Anulia pressed those full lips closer together and made them as straight as the naturally curled bits of flesh would go. ``So I am seeing with my own eyes my friend.`` Both slender brows rose up high over her chocolate eyes as he spoke of a drink that would knock over a horse.`` That... does not sound safe Apollo. Why would you drink a poison that powerful?`` Anulia had spent a whole day asking others why they drank these poisons known as ' drinks'. The answers were always different. Still, she pressed the mug forward and shook her head. Eyes went to the door as they opened once to show the lovely alabaster skin toned Eirian and then not but a few moments after, Caden and Anne! It had been some time, but her smile showed proof of that before her attention went to Apollo to await his clever answer. He seemed to have so many.
Eirian- The alabaster woman was flushed with scarlet! Cheeks, arms, bosom awash in it after the excursion of crossing the thoroughfares, hills, and lanes! Aye, it was time to employ cart or carriage for her feet would not prove so spry now across the stones as they had been. "Good evening!" She chimed to one and all. A smile, a wave, but inarticulate? For Apollo she caught him around the middle, twining slender arms 'round him as far as they can go. Anulia's question on poison was the indicator: Apollo was swimming in the barrel. "Astounding the locals with your vice, darling? You'll drink them dry, if ye pay them well m'thinks they shan't mind as much."
Apollo- `` I wreckon I should slow down should i forget what day it is.. was.. will be.. see what I mean?`` He set the mug down to place his arms over Eirian's, and his fingers intertwined with her own as he twisted his head about to catch her with his peripheral. ``.. i astound folks with my nonsense; advice should be no different m'thinks.`` She kissed his cheek and worked in on his thigh where she leaned against him comfortably, and he draped an arm over her shoulders. He turned his attention to Anulia, analyzing her face for a second. ``You waiting on somethin', love.. a smart reply, quip, even.. I s'ppose I should say a man is what he drinks-- be it the more poisoness, the more of a man he becomes-- or so Kuriel says.`
Caden- Caden grinned as he spotted Anulia he offered her a bow of his blonde head in greeting while Anna purred and sauntered on in as if she owned the place. A spot was taken up before the fireplace and a watchful eye was kept while Caden moved to find a seat. Upon that venture though he would spot Eirian and Apollo. Eirian he knew well but Apollo he knew in name only. He flashed that boyish grin at his Lady and bowed. " Good Evening M'Lady Eirian," a nod given to Apollo. " Good Eve Sir."
stone soliloquy: To make a long story short, Oliver was bored. Bored with the bar scene. Bored with his own bar. Bored with the people in bars. When he tried to do something else, he found he was bored with that as well. For a young man, he wasn't easy to impress in the way of distraction and spent time. Why, then, did he find himself on the front steps to another drinking establishment? There were always his studies. Pointless and dead-end persuits of various natures, a mountain to climb, a river to swim down. Even so, he still found himself back at a place that didn't promise anything other than what every place before it had delivered. Stale air and shallow conversation. Luckily Oliver wasn't really the pessimistic type. If anything, he was indifferent. That could probably be attributed to his line of work. There was something difficult about forming emotional attachments or sticking around in one place for very long when you were a killer for fire. The 6'6 man moved the door aside with the tip of a broad shoulder, dark irises observing the interior and those within it with a half-hearted sense of interest. The bar, of course, was located easily enough, and he made way for it. A vacant stool was selected among the row of empty seats, forearms crossing on the countertop as he leaned forward to put in his order. Once the young man delivered it, Oliver lifted the glass for a taste, sinking into observant silence as he turned to regard those gathered. -d-
Anulia of Amora- A soft womanly chuckle came from her lips before her eyes went to Eirian and she smiled slightly wider at the presence of the woman.``Evening. Sit down, I will get you and the child some juice`` a clean mug was pulled up and the freshly squeezed orange juice was poured into the mug and pressed towards Eirian. ``I was awaiting any comment you wanted to give Apollo. Normally you do have clever ones ready for those who wish to listen.`` Another wide smile was pressed from her full lips for a moment before it faded into a softer one as she saw Caden bow. `` You look handsome as ever Caden my friend! I will be over to bring you a drink in just a moment.`` What ever he would call out, she would prepare soon. Anna was not forgotten and she would make sure to grab something for her as well. Many new comers would find it strange to see a growing white tiger moving about the establishment, but Anna had been around for some time and those who lived here paid her no mind unless they were offering a pet or greeting. When the door opened, Rose was seen tending to another so Anulia took care of the greetings to the new comer. He was a tall one. Almost as tall as Maahes. `` Evening. Welcome to Briar Rose. If you have questions about the foor, please feel free to ask what we serve.`` her tone was soft, yet was not one that someone had to strain in order to hear for she spoke clearly and loud enough.
Jelenah- Lady Jelenah would make her way down the winding roads and paths that made the streets of Turas Lan. The many buildings lining each sides of the cobblestone paths, laterns in the being lit as the men that saw to give light to darken roads would chase away what evil lurked within them. The golden blond would move up the steps, push open the door and cross the threshold. Door was closed as small hands found their way back to slender sides of the small woman. Blue eyes of sparkling gems scan the room to take note of both familiar and not so familiar faces. Anulia was spotted and that would be the direction the little woman moved. "Evening Anulia..." Gaze shifted and spotted Sir Caden, nod and smile offered to him as well as those of both the Avarian King and Lady Eirian."Evening to you both as well..." She said smiling.
Apollo- Apollo found it easy and simple to just.. sit and watch. Considering his condition, it would have made things more complicated than they were if he did any further. He finished his newest mug, draining it and setting it aside. ``Woo .. this is some good stuff. Sneaks right up on ye..`` He massaged the back of Eirian's neck and kissed her cheek with a drunken grace; meaning cheek equaled her ear. ``.. you rival the night's beauty, my lady. May I order you something?``
Anulia of Amora- The new comer was a strange one indeed, but who was not that lived upon this island? Anulia found msot such a way, even Aman-ud-Din. Chocolate eyes went to Apollo as he spoke of the stuff being good before she shook her head and looked back to the door once more to see Jelenah moving in.``Evening Jelenah... can I get you a drink? Something to eat perhaps?`` She would being moving around behind the bar, grabbing a mug in case the blond woman said yes and awaiting her answer. `` Tom, could you please go in the back and ask the cook to make a bit of beef and just brown it then put it on a plate for me? Thank you. ``
Eirian- " Anulia, you are too kind." She lifted the juice in a toast to her, finding the orange concoction pleasing to the tastebuds. Before she could bid further eventides to all, Apollo was being sweet on her, tickling her ear with the sound of his voice, her neck with his beard."Mm..an orange spiced tea, for after the juice..ye shameless flirt." She turned to kiss his cheek, his lips, chuckling all the while. "Shameless, but tis loved all the same."
Jelenah- Jelenah would look back to Anulia with a nod and a soft smile. "Yes please... perhaps a a tea with lemon? Maybe even some honey too.." Jelenah would move to slip into one of the stools at the bar, one furthest from the door. Hands rested within her lap as she turned in her seat to look and watch the others. Smiles for them all as always before looking back to Anulia. "So how are you this evening Anulia? I hope all is well with you." Jelenah would say as Anulia was only one other woman besides Bess, Eirian and Kay she had become close or familiar with.
Anuila of Amora- Anulia moved fast to make the tea. A pot rested over a small hearth towards the right of her where she could get the hot water from and pour it into the wooden mug. A small cloth filled with the grains of tea herbs was pulled out lowered into the hot water before she moved the mug on top of the counter and pushed it forward towards Jelenah. One half of a lemon and a small bowl with a comb of honey was also removed from under the counter and pushed towards Jelenah. ``All is well as it can be. And you? How are you Jelenah?`` When Tom came back with the plate, Anulia asked him to take it to Caden for Anna and then get what he would like to drink and put it in for her. She would make her way to the male soon
Eirian- The Lady Artisan was being romanced in an unusual way, settling to lean against him instead so she could regard those gathered in the room. "It seems a hundred years since last I saw you beyond castle walls, Jelenah. Caden I have the blessed fortune to see most every day" She grinned to him. Ah ha! His head in a book. He would be a lance wielding Greek extrodinare, that one. A source of inspiration reciting quotes from the Illiad, the Oddesy, and St. Augustine. Oh, a teacher could hope! "How fares work for you, Anulia, is all well this night for the coin till?"
Jelenah- Jelenah watched as Anulia was quickly filling orders and knew the woman had to enjoy her work. The Lady In Waiting remember those days and it would bring a smile as memories came rushing back. She looked back to the dark skinned woman with a smile. "That is good to hear... and I hope that Aman-ud-Din is well to." What was this? Jelenah wishing a dark skinned and dark haired male well wishes when they were the very type to haunt her sleep? The conversation she had with the Gypsy Mateo the other afternoon had seemed to open her eyes a bit more and maybe it was high time this little woman cast aside her fears. Well... at least some of them. "I am doing very well Anulia... thank you for asking." She heard Eirian's voice and eyes looked to her with a smile. "Canou blame me with all that has happened recently. It is no wonder I have not been deemed a ghost as so to migle with those that already haunt our castle." She jested lightly.
Anulia of Amora- Anulia enjoyed much more then her work. She enjoyed the simple ness that it brought, working for something that she would need. It brought with it a sense of pride that she had never felt in any of her past lives. Chocolate eyes drifted beyond the dark lashes to see Jelenah as she spoke to her. `` I believe he is well. He has gone on a journey of some sort. `` Anulia was truly alone in more ways then one now. She had Tahirah, but speaking to a six year old child about feelings and the issues that made the mind ponder would make little sense. `` Eirian...work goes well enough. It keeps me busy and gives me the coins I need. Thank you for asking.`` As the ladies went on to speak, Anulia pardoned herself and moved around the counter to head towards Caden and see how he faired. The white tiger was the first to move to Anulia to great her. Such a powerful beast this one would be later on. Lowering her frame into a crouch and moved her hand out palm forward so Anna could smell her flesh first and remember her fully. She might seem docile, but she was still a beast...a wild beast that could turn at any moment.
Willa Schleitz- The quiet steps of the lass passed without notice as the eyes seemed to glance back over her shoulder. The simple browns of the skirts and humble blouse placed the girl as just another servant among so many. The blond hair was kept up and back with the single braid as she sidestepped another all the while she couldn't help but feeling just a tad bit smug about the Lady Caroline's color change. What was worse? The little snot deserved every nasty shade of puce she had turned. The hand pushed open the door to the Inn as she offered a small wave to all those that were gathered within. " Good evenin " She offered her greeting before heading towards Miss Rose and the counter.
XSodinaOversoulX- :: She entered the inn slowly. dressed in a blue violet. the under gown was flowing and had form fitting sleeves. while the outer gown had long dropped loose sleeves. It's bodice was tight and was square cut at the top inches from exposing her shoulders. her neck was adorn with a pearl neaclace which was wrapped twice around her neck. close at the neck while the rest hung right between the bust with a bronze colored cross hanging down it. her long dark hair was parted and wrapped up in a bun which was hidden under a black diamond shaped headress with a borthery of pearls, and a long black veil the same color as her gown. she would moved passed the occupants closest to her and toward nearest table in the bar.::
Eirian- "That is good to hear, Anulia, you are good at this! Finest tendress in Turas Lan." Whatever job was undertaken by those on the island, one could not say they slacked at it! Jelenah, too, took on each task with a grace that was admirable. Eirian had been helping with events in the castle, lending hands so that people wouldn't be overburdened. "No one blames you, Jelenah. In light of everything, you do your posistion well, too. Good evening, Willa!" Apollo was cavalier, wrapping his arm about her waist, chuckling as the baby kicked his hand.
Jelenah- Jelenah would nod and listen as lemon and honey were added to her tea. A sense of sadness struck as it seem that Anulia would be alone now with the exception of the little girl. Jelenah would speak up then and offer a suggestion. "Perhaps you and I could spend some time together then... I long to be outdoors and it would give us a better chance to get to know each other." She replied as Anulia rounded the bar to go and see to other orders. Jelenah looked back to Eirian then and nodded with a smile. "Thank you Eirian... but you know as well as I do that I enjoy caring to others ...no matter the titles, position or coins that might follow." She knew Eirian knew that... they had worked together side by side for so long in Orkney. Jelenah would grow quite now, enjoying her tea as others struck up other conversations.
Caden- Caden sat back in his corner sort of lost to the world, his head stuck in a book as he sipped at some ale, his empty bowl pushed back and the world forgotten as he got lost in some fantasy story about dragons and knights and whatever else the mind con concieve. Meanwhile Anna's attention went to Anulia as that hand was offered. She gave a soft chuff then nuzzled her head into the offered hand.
Anulia of Amora- A wide smile had been tossed over her shoulder as she looked to Eirian and heard her words. The entrance of Willa was missed though as Anulia was still holding her hand towards the white, rare beauty. Jelenah's words were not missed and Anulia would very well take her up on such a offer soon. They had talks before of things Anulia was still trying to express to others. Both had found themselves suffering and going against the same things, but the roles were reversed. Where Anulia had been inslaved by men of light complextion, Jelenah had been inslaved by men of darker flesh. Finger tips pressed in the feline's head, scratching that thick skull that lay just beyond the flesh and fur. Such a wonderful creature. `` Caden.. what is it that you read of?`` Anulia was still learning the ways of a book
XSodinaOversoulX- ::Jade hues scanned the area of the inn onces making her way at a table closes to the counter, though she would yet siting in one of the vacant chairs. jade eyes would study the other occupants presently residing here, taking each face in full detail it was than she saw a man at another table with his mind stuck in a book. hands moved to rest on the sides of her bodice a moment before sliding to the front and folding together while approaching the young man . upon reaching him she smiled and held her skirts dipping lightly to the man in a bow of greeting.:: "Evening Sir..."
Eirian- " To serve is to give quality to life. There is no greater aspiration than service in the public good, or so it is written in mottos that lay within the pages of parchment," her lips were moist with the sweet juice, sliding down her throat to ease the speech of more words to follow, "Tis something I engrain into the students. No matter what they should do, tis an honor to be of service." Velvet covered, silk, or lace. Soft hands and supple form did not spare one from duty to their fellow mortal, or so the Artisan thought. "Will you tell me how the castle has fared today, I have taught classes since near dawn"
Caden- Cadens gaze lifted from his book and went to Anulia as she rubbed Anna's head who was now purring deeply. He offered her a half grin. " A book about Dragons and Knights and Damsels in distress." He said with a boyish grin as he held it up a little more so she could see the cover artfully detailed with a flaming dragon and a knight with his sword up and shield in place. He was surprised by the approach of the woman his head tilted curiously as the young woman curtsied. " Goo' Evening M'lady." He said, brilliant blue eyes resting on her but a moment before glancing back towards Anulia and then towards Eirian with a look in his eyes that clearly said, " oh shoowhat do I do now."
Anulia of Amora- As many mingled about in the tavern, most in their own world, finding solitude within their drinks or foods, the doors would open once more. Large hands seized the door before it could slam against the wall, for it had been pressed harder then he had meant to. The large male stood at nearly 6'7. His body was hard to see to know the true size of him, for furs covered and wrapped themselves around him at every point save for those that held leather. The moment he entered, the helmet of metal and bone with horns like what some might call a demon was removed from the top of his head to let the mess of darker blond locks be shown as the glow of fire lights moved around the area. Behind him, other men moved in to follow their clan leader as they moved deeper into the establishment. With each step, their heavy booted feet pressed into the wood making it creak under them as they looked to not only one person but all and moved to find the larger of the tables inside. Grunts could be heard as chairs were pulled out and each man settled in their group of five. With a look from the leader, all men removed their helmets and settled them on the table top or by their feet to be out of the way for when food would come. Anulia glanced up as Caden spoke of dragons and women in need of a good knight. One much like Caden! She laughed and was about to ask if their were pictures of a dragon within the book, for she did not believe she had ever seen one before but the coming of the other woman stopped such as her smile moved to her and she gave a nod of her head. the sound of the door opening moved her attention towards it to see her nightmares come to life as they moved inside. Eyes went wide and her mouth parted as she stopped in her pets with Anna and stayed there upon her knees on the floor. Turning her head, her body began to shake and she looked to Anna, hoping to hide if only her back was to them. Heat and the feeling of insects all over her skin came over her, making her shudder and loose her breath.
Willa Schleitz- Willa had gotten her cup of tea and slipped off to the side to just people watch. One of her favorite things to do as she glanced now and then to the window to judge the time. She'd likely finish her tea before going to stand along the wall as she had promised. The arrival of the group of men brought the curious gaze of the kitchen maid toward them. Willa had very little reason to be bashful about that studying stare as she saw the man mountain move through the gathering of people before he and his comrades found a place to be settled. Unfortunately she would miss Anulia's reaction to them as they entered , due to the distance and people that seperated the two. So with the simple country ignorance she just watched.
XSodinaOversoulX- :: The woman returned the smiled , a faint giggle escaping her pale lips noticing his expression seeming to be nervous. She would open her lips and spoke toward the young man.::" And how are you this evening? " :: she would moved a little closer to the other to see what the nervous man would do. before speaking again:: "did I hear you were reading something about dragons?"
Eirian- Caden was one for books. When his duty allowed him leave, in Arianna Hymerodraeth the library doors swung on the hinges as he passed by with the latest text to devour, feeding continual interest. Hand was propped up by elbow, cupping the curve of the face as the room passed in a sort of common trite; people milling around with drink, conversation, and coin to pay for the lot of it. Nervousiness tinged Caden's expression.
Caden- Caden shifted in his chair as she stepped closer, cleared his throat, once, twice before flickering blue eyes back in her direction. " Um aye, dragons." Another clearing of his throat. " I am fine thank you." When Anulia did not come to her feet to serve the men that entered Caden's gaze went to her curiously only to see her nearly trying to hide behind Annabel who had come to her feet. Long black and white tail swishing back and forth nervously, the big black and white tigress feeding off not only Anulia's sudden nervousness and fear but also Caden's nervousness as well. She gave a restless growl and shook her head glancing from Anulia to Caden and back again trying to figure out what to for either one of them.
Anulia of Amora- Anulia took shallow breaths as she tried to ease her nerves and remember that not all were the same. There was no reason to believe that these men were the same who made her a slave. The conversations around her could be heard, from Caden and the unknown woman to those closer to them, surround her with tables and chairs to help block her. Her small hand moved back to the beautiful tiger to stroke her fur, needing some of the calm that only such a animal could give before she finally turned her head to see Rose had tended to the men. Willa was seen as well by Eirian and had Anulia not been so nervous, she would have said hello to the wonderful young women. Chocolate eyes moved around as her head followed and looked to Caden and then the unknown woman. Anulia did not wish to start a scene, so for the moment she stayed on the ground.``A past that still haunts me..``` spoken as the answer it seemed to both Anna and Caden
XSodinaOversoulX- :: another faint giggle came from her throat she would lightly move to the man's left side and would lower down the side of her bodice lightly brushing against his shoulder. lowering down enough for him to smell the fragrance of Lavender. while the back of her hand moved to rest under her chin while she looked to the page in which he was reading before reading just a paragraph before smiling again and rising to her feet.::"a very imagnative young man quite interesting.. you must be very fond of the folk tale legends about dragons..."
Willa Schleitz- Willa continued to watch it all, or well the men as they ordered from Rose. The small cant of her head was given as she glanced to the lass that was flirting with Caden. She hid her smile behind her tea cup as she continued to let the bright gaze sweep over the room. The glance down into the cup was given.. it was nearly empty.. and the time was coming soon. She'd spend at least two hours on the walls of the city looking out over the water.. all in hopes of catching a glimpse of sails. It was the deeper rumble of voices that brought her attention back to the foreign men.
Caden- Caden just about crawled out of his skin, he would have been fine perhaps until she actually touched him. Book was dropped and he jumped up from his seat, his face red with embarassement both from his own reaction and by her forward actions. He cleared his throat, looked desperately towards Eirian, he did not want to be rude to the woman but well, he was rather taken aback by her. His voice cracked when he tried to speak, "Ye..." another clearing of his throat, " Yes I... " Another higher pitch in his voice. "like the old legends of dragons, fairies, elves, an' the like." When he wasent learning about war fare and battle technique and poetry and history and whatever else Lady Eirian sought to teach him of.
Wrath- Many were looked upon for a moment in time as the men settled into the chairs and ordered their food and drinks. They were silent while others were loud and booming. Very opposite from what people would say of Vikings, but they had no wish to drawl attention on themselves. The leader looked up from the gathering of his men. His face held the scruffy bits of hair around it though there was not dirt caked upon him or any of his men as others believed their kind to be like. They were clean, or as clean as men could be in this time and age. While his features were rough, his eyes seemed kinder then the rest of him. Hush tones finally moved from his brethrens' lips to speak to one another about trade and where they would be heading next. Wrath did not notice the darker skinned woman upon the ground hiding from him, however he did see the younger male rise from his seat quickly and then looked to see a blond woman standing not far from them with a mug of tea in her hand. He stared, but not in a malice way.
Anulia of Amora- Anulia moved her chocolate colored eyes up when she heard the chair move along the ground a bit faster then need be and saw Caden looking nervous as he cleared his throat and spoke a bit in higher tones. Did he know the woman? Why did he seem so nervous? Anna seemed to be confused as well and pushing her own fears aside, she stood slowly, not but a few inches from the pair. Small hands reached for his book before she stood up and handed it towards him. Eyes went to the new woman. `` Pardon my rudeness. I am Anulia.``
Willa Schleitz- Willa had learned to be the eyes in the markets while her Da often did his business with the merchants. It was often her job to study people and keep aware of those around them. Often she had no idea what it was she was looking for.but typically found herself interrogated on the way back home to the farm. However, her attention was diverted by Caden's sudden rise to his feet. The hand smothered the giggle as she watched them for a moment. Anulia was there to aid the young man, which Willa understood the lad was in good and faithful hands. Her attention was drawn back and found herself watched in return. The bright eyes didn't shy away but caught up the gaze head on.. the smile shifted and for a moment held before she directed it again else where to another of the company. There were smaller things taken as a part of all this, clothing.. how they sat.. the inflictions they gave to their words.. tiny little nussiances people often forgot to pay attention to.
XSodinaOversoulX- :: She smiled and would pick up up the lad's book but was too late when another had already picked it up before her. A smile was given to the other woman" All is forgiven. Pleased to meet you miss Anulia, I am Lady Anna Marie Contivale I hope I didn't alarm your young friend, It's rare to see a man read especially folk tales..:: she then looked at the book the tips of her fingers went to her lips.:: Oh my it appears the book has been closed the moment it fell from his hands... a pitty it has no marker...:: she reached into the sleeve of her lower gown and withdrew a perfumed hankerchief and approached the young man after giving a nod to the other woman to excuse herself, and offered it to the lad.:: here you are young sir. It's not much but if you fold it in half it will make a good book marker so when you cant finish a chapter you can mark your place. When he took the hankerchief she would give him another curtsey before moving back to the woman who she had just started to talk to.::
Eirian- Caden was more than nervous, the young man was practically on the verge of an anxiety fit. A man could wield swords, his aim true, but alas that did not always make valiant knight as cavalier with flirtations as he one might wish. Introductions were being made on behalf of Anulia beginning them, her fingertips beckoning Caden over, "Is it a Scottish Dragon or a Welsh dragon you read over, Caden? I don't think ye've told me today. I just finished stories for the children yestereve concerning a dragon in a grove of ash trees." Viking men plyed their trade a little better than young Caden, looking to Anulia with relish. Ah, amore! Apollo was bereft of the feeling now, taking leave for a room upstairs to rest off the hour of the elventh ale. Strands of dark laquer tarried at the cheek to be swept behind the ear.
Caden- Caden almost reluctantly took the handkerchief, still not wanting to be rude. This after he had accepted the book back from Anulia offering her a smile. A look of pure relief crossed his features as the woman walked away and Eirian called him over. He was all too happy to move to sit next to her and discuss books. He handed her the book he had been reading " Scottish Dragon M'lady." He said as he sat in the chair beside the woman he thought of as an older sister. A quick glance towards the woman who had the same name as his tiger, that had not been lost on him, again relieved to find she had not followed and then his attention was given to Eirian completely.
Wrath- That smile of the lass would not get such a reward so quickly, but should she hold on but a few more moments, she would see it finally mirror on the man's face to show all his strong teeth were present and not as unhealthy as most were. Such a lovely looking woman made him pause. Women of such tender looking nature was rare to find within his clan, for they had to handle men of his size and it was not such a easy feet when most were bullheaded. He wanted to speak to the woman, but his men were talking to him and while his eyes lingered on her, he spoke back to them in his native tongue. He was young for a leader, the power having been handed down by the passing of his father. Years of being at his father's side had gained a large amount of respect, but left little time to find a wife. Was it so hard to believe he was lonely a tad while the other men were older and had wives settled at him full of children around them?
Anulia of Amora- Anulia smiled softly towards the woman and had noticed Caden move away from her. She did not mean to be rude, but now she felt that shake start once more as the men were speaking and it seemed like all she could hear were their native tongues. Flashed moved in her mind to show scenes of their death bringing ways and words yelled out in those booming tones, no doubt calling for the death of others, seemed to echo in her head. `` Forgive me, I am... lost at current in my own thoughts. I do pardon my behavior ahead of time.`` Anulia excused herself from the woman and looked to Anna, the tiger. Moving around the beast, she went towards the counter, stiff as a piece of wood almost as she moved by the table of men. Every movement made her react quick, turning her face towards them while her steps quickened
Willa Schleitz- Willa studied the man rather openly as the grin caused her to chuckle a little to herself. Her eyes moved away from him to look over the others before glancing to the lady that dashed from the commons. She glaned to poor Caden as the lad seemed flushed and rather embarassed. She turned away from all there to set her cup down and smiled at Rose as she offered a refill. " Thank ya.. " She slipped a hand into the pocket of the dull skirts and retrieved the coin for the tea. While , really she shouldn't take enjoyment from Caden's .. dilemia.. he was in good and fine hands of Anulia and Eirian looking out for him. Not to mention the over sized kitty that traveled with him. She stood at the counter now, watching the crowd again, attempting to catch fragments of the foreign language spoken by the odd men. If the man was lonely or otherwise was his own business.. she was merely curious as to who they were.. and why they were here.
Caden- Caden relaxed visibly when the woman had left completely secretly afraid she would try to pounce him or something, ahh the imaginings of an over active imagination at times save for whenit really counts. Anna, alone now by the fire as Anulia moved off, sauntered over to caden and rested her big head in his lap and purred reassuringly. He offered a sheepish smile andlet his hand trail to her fur and began to stroke her neck gently as he spoke with Eirian
Willa Schleitz- Willa looked to Caden and chuckled softly as she returned to that small place against the wall, cradling the cup of tea once more between her hands. It was after all rather amusing.
