Anulia of Amora- After wandering from odis, a most fascinating man who Anulia could try say gave a new meaning to ' looks are deceiving', she moved back to Jelenah with a try of honey biscuits from Rose and another tea with honey. Setting them at the table between them, Anulia took her seat once more, easing her short frame down and once more crossing her slender legs, right over left. Her own tea was pulled up to her lips with one hand while another reached for a biscuit, feeling the goopy texture of honey over it and the warmth that came from it being fresh out of the oven. The taste of such a item made Anulia smile, simply for no reason. At first she had called them 'happy bread' due to the feeling they gave until Rose corrected her and gave her the real name. The fire seemed to take on the attention of the savage for a time while she munched on the bread and sipped her tea. Relaxing. Only a small handful of others were left and it was growing late.
Jelenah- Jelenah had grown even more quiet if it were possible. Blue hues shifted back towards Anulia as the woman reappeared with another serving of tea, accompanied by biscuits and honey this time around. Jelenah would take up another cup of tea, cautiously sip it and set it aside a moment to partake of the food Anulia was so kind to get for them. Jelenah would bite into the honey glazed bread and smile some to herself. Seemed memories were everywhere and in everything. At least this one was something good and from Orkney. She swallowed it, and washed it down with a sip of tea before looking back to the dark toned woman. A smile was offered as she spoke. "Thank you Anulia, for all of this..." -d-
Anulia of Amora- "It is a nice thing to do yes? I do not mind it, for I had a nice thing done for me many times when I came here. I figure if everyone does something nice, then it would spread goodness throughout the lands." it was a child's way of thinking, yet made perfect sense. Chocolate eyes drifted to the side and her head turned with them so she could face the woman with a soft smile upon those full lips. "Your welcome. We are....here for a reason. Let us find those reasons soon or later. As i have learned, being patient will always show the answer. " the readings she got from the bible were intense for someone such as her. She believed one thing and now was learning something new, something that made more sense to her and made her at peace inside, or so she thought. "Do you feel safe here...in these lands?"
Jelenah- "Yes, yes it is and you are a kind person and as did I" Jelenah would nod in agreement with the woman and reply back with something added. " We are... and patience is all I have...for it is the same as time and there is plenty of that." She said as she cracked a smile. Tea was brought up to lips once more, set aside and another bite of biscuit taken. When she finished with that she looked to Anulia again and nodded. "I feel safe when I am around others, not so much when I am alone."
Anulia of Amora- Anulia gave a soft womanly laugh that was not too powerful yet real and harmonic. "It is all we have." Anulia knew that from life. She had to wait for a lot of things and it caused her to be a patient child. Anulia's eyes never let Jelenah as she spoke. "I think I am too...what is the word. Naval...navry...naive? Yes naive at times. I was never alone before, so strangely enough I feel safer when I wander about alone. Many things to see. Many things to do. I was very protected in my life. Not given room to have..adven....tures. I have them now." Her smile never wavered, only grew with that. Anulia was old enough to know that there were dangers in the world, but when wonderment grabbed a hold of her, she seemed lost from the dangers. It was not safe and she knew it, but she could not see to fight it or she was enjoying her real freedom now.
Jelenah- The blonde would nod and smile still as well. " You and I.. we have a lot in common, and yet we are different. It is strange yes, but something that is welcomed." She paused a moment. "I was allowed freedom, could go where I wished when done with my work for the day...never really needed protection. Never really knew what you call, real danger. and now...well.." She glanced to the flames and then down at her hands and wrists. " I know just the oppisite of it all." She looked back to Anulia. "And in knowing such, it has made me more aware of things... wiser if you will." -d-
Anulia of Amora- It was strange that they had a good deal in common, but Anulia did not let it deter her from a friendship. One of the major opposites were spoken then and there. Anulia could only assume that it was why she did not act more skittish around people now a days. It could be why she smiled even after living through hell on earth. She wanted to smile more in the eyes of others because alone, in her room at night she would wake from nightmares, screaming and crying out to her shadows and God. The night and sleep ruled her with such horrible images and memories, so during the day her and God took control, making things more beautiful. or so she believed. "Aware is good, but fear is no good. Later on, you will get past it, or perhaps never, but it will not hurt you. You will be...Lady in waiting. A fine position and one that does not need you to face many men without another by your side, yes."
Jelenah- Anulia made several good points and Jelenah nodded. The sleep thing however is something they both seem to need help with. Jelenah rarely slept, most found in the halls and library or talking with hired help at all hours of the night. Reading books, writing entried in her journal and anything else she could do to keep herself busy. She even use to clean and such in The Lions Den back in Orkney if she couldn't sleep. Checking, re checking, cooking, cleaning stocking. Anything the tavern needed, it was done. That's how the small woman passed her time was keeping herself plenty busy.-d-
Anulia of Amora- Jelenah's silence spoke volumes to Anulia, but she found no real need to press it. She was a shy woman while Anulai was out going. They though on very different patterns. Anulia thought if she made everyone her friend and had no enemies, she would be safer. It was a simple way of thinking, as with most things she thought on, but still made sense. Jelenah seemed to want the opposite. To face as little amount of people as possible for now. Only time would tell which one would work. Maybe both for the women since they still had differences. Rose moved by the ladies and gave a soft nod to them before telling Anulia she could head home now, that they could handle the rest and telling her what a good job she did. Anulia smiled and blushed slightly before moving to stand, taking the dishes back and then coming to Jelenah. "Would you like to walk home with me?"
Jelenah- Jelenah had unconsiously grown quiet again, habit it seemed. Blue hues lifted to Anulia and then Rose as the two other women spoke and Anulia helping the older woman with a couple last minute things. She would stand and nod to Anulia when the woman asked if she wanted to walk back home with her. "I'd like that..."She replied with a smile as she gathered up her shaw and moved with Anulia, heading back to the Castle. -d-
Anulia of Amora- Anulia gave a soft smile and waited for the woman to gather her things before both headed for the door, Anulia opened it for Jelenah as she had seen the men doing such, thinking it was simply polite and that any one should do it for another. When they moved out to the cobble streets, Anulia made barely a sound with her sandals as they moved gracefully over the stone. Lanterns had been lit for a long time and were starting to grow dim, needing to be refreshed by those who worked nightly. Anulia paused once when she saw a male with a stepping stone once more placing it down in front of the tall lantern to add more oils to the flames so they glowed brightly. Chocolate colored hues drifted back to Jelenah before she gave another wide smile, letting her full lips peel back and show healthy teeth. In the jungles, fruits were what was mostly eaten, so the body stayed healthy, unlike here where people ate raw meats and drank poisons. Such a strange world, but one that Anulia knew she had to get use to. bare shoulders held goose bumps as a wind drifted by, but she did not pause in her steady walk by Jelenah's side. "It is...amazing really. This place...so many lights and things. Objects made of things I have never heard of. It is a big reason why I can not stay locked in the castle or to myself. "
Jelenah- Jelenah looked over to Anulia and nodded with a smile. "Much is strange when one does not know something for a time. Many new things can be strange but good... I suppose it is something I should take to myself." Jelenah's own frame was slender and tone, simply from constant lifting of things and work. Rarely did she eat baked sweet goods but she would indulge in it at times. The fairer of the two women was one that preferred natural sweetness over that of things candied. Meat, well.. Jelenah ate it simply because that was partly was she was rasied on along side vegitables. The way people were brought up in one area of the world could e so very different than that of others in diffent places. -d
Anulia of Amora- Anulia only smiled even more at the opposites they truly were. Jelenah was fair skin with blond hair and light eyes while Anulia was darker skinned with dark hair and eyes. Anulia asked questions and liked to have conversations, Jelenah liked to stay to herself and perhaps listen to others? Hmm. Since coming here, Anulia had noticed many men looked upon her figure more often even when it was almost fully covered as opposed to the clothing of her homeland that only covered the difference between man and woman. Sometimes the women of her tribe did not even cover their breast, seeing no need to as they were often needed for children or ignored. As a former High Priestess, she kept those womanly curves covered, for reason of her own modesty. Even in a world where it did not matter. The stone walls of the castle came into view, making Anulia tilt her chin up and head back so she could look all the way to the top of it even though darkness took over. She was still in awe sometimes at such buildings. "It is good advice as they say. Anulia does not always have the best advice, but sometimes what I say makes sense. It is strange still, coming from a place where I knew everything, to a place where I know nothing, A exciting and fearful change it is. "
jelenah- Jelenah was a woman of few words yes, and she found that if she needed to know something about someone, more times than none it would be revealed as Jelenah simply observed from afar. She looked to Anulia and watched, then also looked skyward as they walked. She then looked back to the woman at her side. " Yes... yes it is... I suppose in time I will not be as...frightened to let myself truly live one day. And maybe in time, it will happen sooner than later." -d-
Mateo- He wasn't compelled to bring attention upon himself. Instead what alerted people of his passing was the brilliantly white Andalusian he was leading beside him. Her hooves made a steady clip against the cobbles, as he led her down the road with little guiding from his hand at her bridle. He was of a decent height, although there were many of his own people who might infer to him as a giant at six foot two. His eyes, dark to the point of blackness took their turns watching the road, his horse, and the passers by. It was clear that he was not from this part of the world, by dress, or by complexion alone. Which was often enough described as darker than the average tan, with accoutraments that ranged slightly on the flamboyant side with his black leather pants, cavalier boots, flowing white silk shirt that was left untied... and that overly cheerful red sash that was wrapped about his waist. For all appearances, he was of a jovial nature, and was simply taking pleasure in his little jaunt. -d-
Anulia of Amora- Chocolate eyes lingered on the top of the castle for a few moments longer before her chin moved back down to mid level and her eyes moved towards the left where Jelenah walked with her. Jelenah was taller then her by only a mere inchs so Anulia did not need to look upwards to see her like she did with others. As they got closer to the castle, Anulia's eyes drifted towards the male walking with his creature besides him, for a moment not thinking of anything until she saw him pass under a nearby lantern and his skin tone stuck out to be closer to Aman-ud-Din's or her own. She had thought they were the only dark ones about, but now she was seeing another. What did this mean? Was there more then just their cultures and that of this land around here? Many people here were fair skin, light eyed and haired in appearance, so when Anulia saw Gypsy, she tended to pause much like she was not at seeing this male. She could not resist to smile softly and call out a "Evening." in that calm and soothing voice as they kept walking towards the castle.
Jelenah- Jelenah continued to walk along side of Anulia as they headed back towards the Castle, but she would also notice the dark skinned man as her friend next to her called out to him. Pale blue eyes would give the once over of him and seem to keep herself guarded or shielded with Anulia. Jelenah would give a simple nod and that would be it. No words to accompany it as the shyer one of the two would keep to herself. Arms were wrapped about her form, pulling the shaw tighter around her without causing any damage to it. She wondered if the man was of the same as Anulia or Aman-un-Din. -d-
Mateo- As the ladies approached he gave them an easy smile that was reflected in the dark heart of his eyes. His hand moved from Rhapsody's bridle over her throat, and the horse stopped alongside him. "Madonna's I bid you good day." As he said this, he tilted his head lightly to the side in the gentlemanly manner before delivering a sweeping bow in their direction. As he preformed this small courtesy, his horse followed suit in lowering herself onto one milk white knee while extending her other leg and bowing her head down so far that the her flowing mane pooled on the cobbles beneath her. He gave Rhapsody's throat a soft pat, and she rose as he did, a rakish smile gracing his lips. "It is, how shall I say, a pleasure to see such beauty allowed to grace the street of this fair isle." His accent was thick, and obviously Italian. -d-
Jelenah- Jelenah had grown even more quiet if it were possible. Blue hues shifted back towards Anulia as the woman reappeared with another serving of tea, accompanied by biscuits and honey this time around.
