Kane seeks the courtship rites of the Lady Windsor, from a Queen, a sister
Lord Kane McGregor
He rose slowly from his bow and nodded to her " I came on a matter of personal reasons.. I am to understand that you are the only Family the Lady Windsor has in this land, and as her Sister.. and My Queen, I humbly ask permission to court the Lady Windsor, Properly and Publically " there was no beating around the bush for Kane, he was straigh foreward as he had been in all his dealings all his life, no matter the station of the one dealt with.. His body language however told much of his passion and want for he seemed strung as taut as a bow, about to loose and arrow, every muscle in his body seemed carved of stone, flexed and stiffened, as if indeed there was more on the line than just his pride if refused the oppurtunity.. and there was.. he had come to care a great deal for the Lady Windsor.. and if he were denied.. he would surely commit treason in the seeing of her, for it was a fire that would not be easily put out, and it flickered in the depths of his intense grey eyes.. were all McGregors this passion filled, this dead set once their mind was set upon something.. was this a fault to be cataloged, or a trait to be lauded. The MacGregors were a people wrought from the ground up on one passion or another as McDonalds were blood fused with a madness. People had traits that flickered in a smile. Sparked to life hard in the center of their eyes so that none could distinguish what that person was after against any falsehoods. Kane never struck her as anything less than a severe form of his people. Black armor memory still clattered around in the Queen's head alongside the well groomed supplicant of the present day. "Aye, the Lady Windsor n' Ah have had a bond o' professed sister hood for many years. She is by tha' far more than a mere lady n' waiting tae me. As a member o' her family and as a Queen in whose service she is ye come tae me." People fathomed what as ensuing. Some talked among themselves the Queen's answer would surely be no. Why would she give her sister to the clan whom sparked wars over misplaced lovers? Would he not leave her then to another's keeping, only then claiming her for his own, wouldn't that put the royalty in danger? Green gaze went with no reprieve up and down the man. "N' yer intentions within the courtship? The Lady's heart is as cherished is her mind, both with her spirit are treasures? Ah shan't let ye have such rights tae court her if yer intentions are merely tae amuse yourself." Such as it was she had never bidden any no, most came to ask her out of great respect, as if her words could move mountains in a blessing. Now was a different matter. She had seen honor love her sister and that same honor had broken her heart. (d)
Lord Kane McGregor
"My intentions are simple, to know her better and she me, and if it should please her so after an appropiate time to honor me in becoming my wife. " his eyes leveled with the amazonion Queen, there was nothing but truth in it.. " I come to you in all honesty, and with nothing but her honor on my heart and mind.. She is most cherished already as a friend to me, and I would like the honor of courting her properly so that she may know my intentions are as honorable as the care I bear for her. As for my amusment, I am not the sort of man who looks for amusment, at the expense of a woman heart. " the last phrase was said with a hint of indignity, was he to be judged by his family, as they stood trial as traitors, had he not brought forth the items of vindication to her own hand? his jaw set tightly as he saw the likely hood of his plea, coming to naught.. "Tha' would be the same of all men said who came for the heart o' m'sister when her heart was broken, n' all men would pay the same consequence if they dared break it again. M'family is guarded with thrice the vigor o' the kingdom, m'lord" She peered over his shoulder with ease, and the page began to usher all else out of the room. It as not for their ears, and the world would see soon enough the product of the discussion no? "Simple intentions are the best intentions n' ah pray ye ne'er forget them as ye gae forward with m'blessing. If it should please the lady, which it seems it will, then it will please me. Ah instruct ye, n' expect, tha ye will treat her as if she were gloriana regina, the glorious queen herself. As for yer amusements, if they are none then we have none tae quarrel o'er, dae we? Tha' will please me greatly." He could have been any man and she would have told them all in no lesser words that to hurt Jelenah they would find no pleasentry remaining. If he thought he had done a worldof hurt to the barrister, it would be nothing compared to what Beathag would do with her own hands if one hair on the golden head of Windsor was offset the wrong way by even an inch. Let us hope if anything was learned from the last season, it was that love was a tender thing yet it should not be kept waiting. She was glad, for one, he took the honorable way of conducting himself. "Long has she stood within the court, n' longer in my heart. Longer will she remain" (d)
Lord Kane McGregor
" As she will in mine until it pleases her no more.. then still, for it shall be she that turns me away.. and not the reverse ...... Majesty " his eyes again leveled with hers as he bowed deeply, the warning was not unoticed nor uncataloged in his mind, but overridden by a certain relief, and a odd feeling of unease in his gut, along with the outlash of breath.. he had been holding upon hearing her approval, gushed out.. Boyish smile crossed his lips for a moment before he rose once again to speak, and then she would see the happiness she had brought the man upon her decree that he could indeed court the Lady Windsor.. " Thank you Your Majesty.. your approval will not be tarnished. " (d)

"Sae Ah hope n' sae I needn't pray fer ye will turn m'hope in tae solid belief nay?" She smiled at him and watched as all of his body set itself down to being calm. Nothing stirred up all sorts of confusion like affairs of the human heart (d) "Sae Ah hope n' sae I needn't pray fer ye will turn m'hope in tae solid belief nay?"
