(This is a two part series, this posting is part II of II. Forgive slight errors throughout, certain pieces were splice together from log manager + free hand logging )
Lady Liliana Campbell
Wisdom was spoken from a beloved husband while his wife leaned back against him, tearful over the injury done to a friend. Liliana knew that what Kendrew spoke was the truth. The soldier would destroy the woman, or in his case the man. There'd been far too many times where Liliana had almost lost her love due to this reason. Not that he was reckless, no, just duty bound. With him retired though had come a measure of reassurance. Liliana wouldn't have to be fearful of losing her husband to battle if he was not going off to fight in them. "I would also like word concerning her health and recovery. Though I will visit as often as I can." Liliana wasn't sure how true it was that the energy of loved ones around the injured could help recovery, but she'd heard it by some- and what harm could it do? (d)
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Such a help tae her ye will be. The soldier too long nutured, it be the woman who needs friend. When she has friend, then the warrior may listen to her sword brothers.Come with me, Liliana. Let us see what other measure of being we can assist. The world is not as our world, I fear," sad the smile crossing features but no less gentle. He brought up her hand, kissed it before enclosing it around his, "We must put together the pieces of this puzzle." (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
Swallowing the tears, sorrow was felt at her injury yet it would not help her recover. Grasping her husband's hand tightly, she murmured,"Aye, let us go visit some others. There might be some who need company as much as Kaelyn." Tofigure out the pieces of the puzzle seemed most important. Liliana wondered just what they'd missed while sheltered in Drynoch. Hopefully they could bear what was discovered. Liliana would let her husband lead them from the room.(d)
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Indeed, there will be other men who should benefit from the sun you carry with you, the light in your eyes. I would like to speak with them, for it is from them we will learn the state of their commanders. It will be alright," He held her close but didn't think on the full proximity of the words. People ran to and fro at their task, others walked with less serious cases to oversee. He would ask directions to the rooms of the injured from the fishing villageby the sea. The first they would come across would be in a ward where it seemed there were many situated together, unable to partake of the advantage or reason of a private room. They were no less cared for. Clean room was scented with herbs to abate the other scents of pungent creams, spirits boiled for cleansing, or abated infection. Some slept, some prayed, others spoke with caregives. One recognized the Lord Guardian, a young man of some seventeen years one year past his majoirty, no doubt only one year seasoned to battle. "My Lord Campbell..you visit us?" (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
Liliana understood the comfort of knowing someone cared. For some it was doubly important as they lacked family of their own. She'd been dearly comforted by the love and friendship given to her during the times of her owntroubles. "Ah, I wish I could make them all better with just a smile husband." Gentle words, a fervent prayer to the Lord that some would benefit positively from these visits, Liliana moved forward into the ward with many beds. Those here suffered injury yet they seemed less serious than those whom had private rooms. Healers and attendants moved about the hall about business, and Liliana gave warm smiles to beds they passed until coming tothe one who called out to her husband. He was young yet seemed in good spirits. (d)
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Aye, I do visit, as does the Lady. We have heard men of the Griffin were laid lower than ought be. This does not look like result o' a spar, boy." Stools were given for both Campbells, and he guided Liliana down to sit, concerned for so much excitement on her behalf. True, women were made of sturdier stuff than men gave credit for, yet she had given birth but a month before to their small son. How long would recovery take? Would this upset it? The realm paled in comparison in that instant when he considered her need. Turning his head to face the young man, the lad laughed a little, holding one of his bruised ribs. "Easy now, dun make it worse. They'd kick me out." "Why would theykick out the Steel Tooth of the Griffin? That would be foolish, sir." "Tell me, son, how came you to this." He didn't know if it was for a lady's ears, but since he served beside women he supposed they were of better stuff than he too supposed. He told a story of the Austrian telling the Lady of a cove of smugglers and spies hidng among the fisher folk, plotting things of ill repute. He said that he was among the men who went in to fetch the Ranger and assist after all had gone to hell when the Austrian left her to die. The Austrian. No one said the name of Marius without tasting bile at the back of their throats! It was no easy fight, and what victory they ascertained came at this price. He had done his duty with two of them at once, one used a boat's ore to smack him in the chest. The other pushed him back into the cove. (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
Of her own health Liliana worried naught. In all honesty,
considering having just given birth to Morgan so recently, Liliana was feeling energetic and lively. While the birthing process itself had taken much out of her, though not near as much as Glenna's, she'd begun to recover fast. Only
one thing dampened her mood and that was being away from Morgan for even a tiny bit, but this was important. Kaelyn and those others injured needed this visit. Happily accepting a seat, Liliana listened to the banter between both men and laughed as well. "You two better be careful or one of the
attendants may give lecture." Gentle chiding, for others might yet be resting, before she fell silent to hear a tale of treachery, victory, and injury. Liliana was
not offended by the words heard, only saddened, and squeezed her husband'shandforcomfort.TheAustrian...Marius...Liliana could recall having heard what he'd done to poor Janice in one of Bess's letters. Oh how she'd like to throw an apple at him now. (d)
Lad, Lord Kendrew Campbell
"The woman cautions. Is this what it is to be married, sir?"
Kendrew chuckled softly, "Mm. Aye. I am nay allowed m'ways but it is a worthy sacrifice. She appreciates an elder man." The boy snickered and as he felt better Kendrew felt hmself feeling worse. How was it these men lay here while he lay only in bed with his arms around his wife? He was incapable of feeling nothing for them, incapable of seeing how this was life's cycle meant to go on. Much of it was corrupted by the pain of the people in service, not by their own faults, but by what ailed them. "Should the Austrian e'er return,
boy, he will have his day of reckoning. Many a man should like to take him to heel, no doubt. That shall be left to us. You, you shall mend, you shall recieve recognition like the others of this I shall see to, and in the summer find yourself a good cup of ale, and a good lady to keep you from being a fool." He turned to view his neighbor, laughing at the tap to his lower back. If this brought them joy, he would stay as long as he could. He felt the peace of his life subside for a want, a tremendous necessity, for his service. (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
One hand reached out to gently offer a pat to the young man
who so kindly supplied them information. "You are brave, young sir, and I thank you for telling us of these events. Is there anything you need?" Liliana offered comfort in kind words. She made a mental note to see of supplying
the Healing Hall with more linens and other supplies, and these men perhaps with fresh shirts and trousers. What women did best was bring items of comfort to those who were in need. "Aye, though find a lady of good mind. Do not be
blinded by beauty alone." And of course, good advice on women. "There are plenty of such women to be found in Skye." (d)

Lord Kendrew Campbell and Charlie MacSween
"if she is too smart, Lady Campbell, will that not outshine yourself?" A bold gesture! Kendrew cautioned the youth with his eyes before grinning, making the lines there pull to show his age. Liliana was a treasure in the pinacle of her time. Thank God he was able to hold her as his own or he'd be all the poorer indeed. He was going to settle in his stool when a voice perhaps three beds over took his attention. A hoarse, laughing whisper broke over their merriment as a hand hailed him. "Ho, Laird Campbell! Ye have nay come tae take m'whiskey nor ale n' a time. Is Drynoch sae fair in tha'?" He turned up his head, recognizing not voice, but the banter. "Christ, MacSween?!" Even the youth lifted up his head, what the world had happened to an old barkeep to see him laid among soldiers? Kendrew went over to examine the bandages, the bruises, "Wot the hell did ye do man, get into a fight ye should have left to the guard?" "Nay, unless ye think Broadford is a fine fight, Cartevalle was worse..." Confusion twisted the knight's features. This wasn't talk of the city, but of the disagreement in Sleat. It didn't sound like sqabbles, but had it fallen to complete warfare of this level? There had been some fighting, this he knew..but what was MacSween, Charlie MacSween doing down there! "McSween, they should have had you arrested, for idiocy! What were you doing there, that is no place..." For an old man? For a man like himself? He didn't finish it. In days of yore men fought till they were snow headed, and now could do so by choice. Called rarely, what had called out the barkeep. "Mm, if it were tha tsimple, campbell, water, please.." He poured upa cup of water, and put it to the fellow's lips. ."Thank you, my voice, was dry. Dryer than usual. Broadford be the home o' the McSweens, shared with the MacGregor in good faith...the MacDonald came. Carver...calling out his fellows tha' still lived in Broadford. They did not answer...I went, hearing he locked some of his kindred in a cottage and set it to fire, by the end....he did it to all!I had to go, n' help Campbell.. so did Grufford. Wife's family settled in Broadford, she's a Henely, but there be MacDonald blood there. Grufford's a MacSween, tae" This was news! Grufford was so oft only tar voiced, pipe thick toned Grufford by the sea! The details of Broadford made him tilt his head, "What dae ye mean there is nothin left of Broadford, this is a squabble!" "Nay, Campbell, tis war, a war the King calls treason! He killed all o' Broadford save a handful, n' then sat at tha' parlay table with Lady macGregor! Tis sae it e'en called out the real Chieftain, Dublain mac Dhugal...tae ride with the Griffin Company, but twas fer nay! Robertsons came tae, Cartevalle was a fookin mess, Campbell!" (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
What had went from talk of treachery at the cove became talk of slaughter in Broadford. Liliana had blushed at the kindly statement of the youth,"I shall not be offended, young sir, for if the woman makes you happy that would make me so." Yet such words of kindness and banter could not be summoned during the talk with poor MacSween. Liliana recalled the man from the Bannockburn, where she'd been plenty enough times herself though not to partake of whiskey, but for company. The other name, Grufford, was known as well- and to hear that these two men had been injured cause sorrow. Yet worse was the words: Nothin' left of Broadford. Nothing? One hand instinctively soughtKendrew's, needing an anchor against the sickness roiling in her stomach. What did one say to offer comfort in such a case as this? Liliana had not an idea. (d)
Charlie MacSween and Lord Kendrew Campbell
"We'll be ruined, Campbell, ruined Ah say. We're hardly liked as it is, small n' all. Stay away from such things, but this, how could we? We are damned nay matter our side but just want tae defend our own. Hear the fights moved tae Kyleakin, last place at the top o' Sleat or it'll break free all o'er, they've arrested the Laird Robertson n' Lady MacGregor. MacGregor gives MacSween much work, we've lived in peace with 'em, this damnable thing..Robertsons, MacDonalds, e'en the MacLeouds went with Robertson! We be tied in the middle man. Gah. Fook Scotland." He coughed and sighed, "We were bonnie, Grufford n' I, bonnie! But he's gone on with the Dublain tae Kyleakin tae stop carver, imagine it, Campbell, A MacDonald against a MacDonald, n' one side is made up o' Robertsons, MacGregors, McLeans, led by Dublain! Carver has men from the mainland they say. Ah could nay talk Grufford intae comin' back.." Kendrew needed a drink, and Charlie was unable to help him there. He needed a pipe, but hadn't indulged for quite awhile with small infancy about. He could have been knocked down with a feather! "Dublain mac Dhugal is 'alf blind for the love of God! They nearly killed him when he sided with the Aberdeen, if they take one piece of him...Jesus MacSween, why did ye nay call, why!" "Because ye are a quiet family, n' tha' is why all favor you." (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
Bloodshed in such quantities wrenched at tender heart causing Liliana to stifle a cry. Teeth dug into bottom lip to keep quiet for these men needed not to hear such at this time. Had not they seen the tragedy themselves? No, itwould not benefit their recovery. Hearing Kendrew's question at the end made Liliana's jerk to the side, chocolate eyes staring at his face with one brow lifted, and silent words. Do not even think of it husband! Not again... That was a time past! Kendrew wasn't getting older and had a family now, they needed him. She couldn't imagine going through that pain again. If he even thought of it..oh, her temper flared. Putting a damper on it for now, she turned soothingly to MacSween,"Calm, good sir. The Healers give dark looks as is. Is there anything you need?" She didn't think the excitement was good on the aged man. (d)
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Easy, MacSween, Easy. Grufford's still out there, ye say. The Griffin men are making arrest then, but they will be caught in the crosshairs of it all. This war is illegal, McSween, they could try him same as the Robertson,MacGregor, or MacDonald. Yet..Kyleakin, seems as if it will be a battle against treason itself. Tha' might redeem all of them, somewhat." What man wanted to wait for absolution when a sword was being hung over his head if the axe for death was no better? They would go down in victory as the old habit of what boys are told foretold. He already felt the air of the sword around him. Heard the steel clatter. "Rest, McSween. And thank you. You have done a large service. I will tell them this, when I ride to Struan. I will speak for your people/ " Unlike others, he had little quarrel with the quiet MacSweens, disliked no doubt because they hardly chose a side at all. They were poorer, and not infront any throne of any former king. He clasped hands in promise with the man, knowing he would now need to testify on his behalf. Who would, if not the pair that heard him? " Madness, all of it. Madness, wife. The guard in our territory will be doubled. What are the men being sent into hence? What are the King and Queen riding hence toward? Oh Liliana. How is there so much of this, when our world is so good. (d)
Gao Jia Lee
::Lee had been left alone with Kaelyn, finally the physicians needed to do some work with her, change her bedding, wash her up. He offered, but considering.. they denied him that. So he was sent to go walk along. He needed to walk to think, and as he did he came again across the familiar couple, whose kind words had given him pause and hope. Moving towards them he again bowed low. This time at his side he carried that reverse bladed kitanna, in a black bamboo and leather sheath to match the hilt to his blade.:: Well met again my friends... Forgive me please, for drifting into silence as I had... My Lady... she had asked of me to keep silent the secret you had discovered until she was ready to share it with the world. I did not mean to betray her confidence without word. -d-
Lady Liliana Campbell
A promise to travel to Struan made Liliana cringe. Would Kendrew go to Kyleakin? Would he fight again? Though such violence and tragedy saddened her, Liliana didn't know what to think. She'd just born a son not a month past and thisshould have been a period of continued peace and joy, and yet now she worried. "It seems, husband, that our time of peace exists no more. With change so came its end." Such sadness in soft-spoken words as Liliana's gaze lowered to lap. Having stepped outside their world they now saw the ugliness occurring. At that moment, had Liliana suspected how much of it there was, she could not say she'd have desired to have the pieces to their lost puzzle. Catching the voice of Kaelyn's friend, she looked up with a smile though not as bright as before,"There is not any need to apologize, Lee. The Lady asked for confidence to be kept and so you kept it." (d)
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Aye, and for that I am mourning." He drew her into his arms as he came closer, for they knew what it meant. They might wish to rage against it, but each served in their own way the King and Queen these many years. They were given what so few were given, the option to digress. Would they now? Would not Beathag need the companionship of Liliana as well as her patience, just as much as Liliana would need the assurance only the Queen could provide. Would not Adam want for both counsel and for sword? Of all of this, it was the danger of the sword they had avoided while so many had not. No more. It seemed. No more. "Tis fine. We came to visit some of the men who were among those pulledout of it, and we've heard enough. Many have more stories to tell. So then, you are Lee, my wife says? My name is Kendrew, Kendrew Campbell." He canted his head, recalling some prior gathering of people prior where a pale woman of the Valley told him such shakes of hand were foreign, and far too personal. "It is not like Maahes to not visit his men often, and they are reluctant to speak of him by choice. It is only by station they will begin to even say a hint of what occurs. This ward, Jesu. Much to assemble, necessary, but by no means wanted." (d)
Gao Jia Lee
::His head nodded.:: Yes... Gao Jia Lee, but... Lee, as you would address me. ::His hand extended, something that did not seem natural, but something he was learning. Phantom, Pegan and the others working on him, as the gesture was both friendly and an assurance to those met. His eyes looking back to Liliana.:: Thank you for your words. I did fail, but I do not believe in my heart she would be too terribly angry. I give my word to you both to do as you ask.. Part of our training when she had lost her eye sight involved art... Some of the times enjoyed best, I think... Trying to teach her to paint what she smelt... To see the world without sight, is a general part of my people's teachings from the time we are able to hold a sword. -d-
Lady Liliana Campbell
Support and friendship was something Liliana offered to Bess. She knew it'd be needed. Yet at the same time, hated the idea of going. Liliana didn't resist Kendrew's arms drawing her close though fought the sickening thought of what all this change meant. "If we go...you cannot fight. You are retired Kendrew Campbell. I will not be put through that again." The words were whispered for only his ears, soft and firm, before she withdrew to stand. "Excuse me amoment, good sirs, husband." Nodding head, Liliana moved toward the door at the end of the room. She needed air to calm the knot in stomach. Why did change bring with it chaos? (d
Lord Kendrew Campbell
He detested the idea of ending the time in Drynoch marked by so few times of disdain and so much joy, but he knew his place. Even in her anguish, she knew hers. It was not fair to live in a state of selective obliviousness when their hands were needed to hold it up. In Drynoch she would be safe but reminded too much of him, at least in Struan she would have the guidance and solace of Beathag. Lara would find a business to foster, and so would leaveMaudlin thoughts. His mother could be grandmother to many children at once. That would be how they all would move. Lara would heat the forge quicker than a stroke of lightning for the men of the land. "Lily.." One word, one reason for being. Even if Beathag came to settle in Drynoch, it would still not add him to the equation. He already knew once they were safe, he was going to Kyleakin. He was going to have to assist the griffin men or the charges would be trumped up to murder. They were defending Kyleakin, and it needed a witness as well as a long arm. It sickened him to give up his deserved peace, to leave all of his children, and be denied time with his infant son, but that is what life was. Even in their ideal world, war was the providence of men. When Lee's hand extended, Kendrew was surprise but took it all the same. "I am glad the Lady has such as yourself to attend her." (d)
Gao Jia Lee
::He watched as Liliana left them and instantly he felt bad for the pains she felt. Releasing Kendrews hand he again nodded, his hand moving to rest behind his back.:: I do not forsee another reason for my Emperor to call me back to Kahnikan anytime here soon. So I will attend to her in all ways I am able. ::As Liliana left them, he looked back towards Kendrew.:: I will not claim to know the structure of this lands military, and enough stryfe has come down withme coming here at my Lords behest. But my sword is promised to her and this land. Where she fights, I fight, and if it means seeing your Lady not shed a tear of worry I will devote it to ensure you make it back in one piece. ::He had seen enough pain and loss in his life. The change to see tears of joy were too good to pass up.:: -d-
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Hmm. The idea has promise tae it, Lee. If you feel it is what you seek to do, it will be an education. One you shan't soon forget. Clans and names, the meanin' of them, what happens when one rises above another and the other can't let go, and the will of the King has to be stronger. No doubt it sounds familiar." He was a Chieftain, but raised so long beyond the mentality to him it was all shyte, but the core of being true to yourself? This he understood, this he cleaved to, "You may come, if you like. To relieve you I will leave no less than three men to stay with the lady's own. My wife will not be pleased, indeed she will loathe me for it. But I can not stand by. No. It would not only be wrong, it would be damn near fatal." He leaned into the wall, crossing his legs at the bottom as fingers came to his chin. He was a man of many deep thoughts. Today was more words than he often said in a whole month outside of his own home. "Mm. The King and Queen have gone to Struan to try the leaders already captured, and one last battle in Kyleakin. I should like to see what became of Broadford, for Charlie's sake. Are you certain, Lee?" He considered the motto of the sept he led: Humility and Bravery, God be Thyne. Secure the King's permission, for it sounded as though Kyleakin were an attack against a band of treason hungry mainlanders out for revenge. The Laird of Moil was in jeopardy, the only legal chieftain of MacDonald who was respected, and with no heir to proceed him, the chaos it could cause! He sat across the table from men of many families, and while Campbell still brewded quiet, how many Argylls crossed over begging for help when Robertson denied them? Oh dear God in heaven. This would be uglier than the treason that secured the Aberdeenian reign. "Our neighbors in all of this, too quiet. This is not like Maahes at all, nor his wife. Nothing from the Apollius. What other ill fated thing comes here? (d)
Gao Jia Lee
::His eyes looking back towards Kendrew and he shook his head.:: Her sword is already devoted to this land, and my sword to her. I could do no less then take her place in your ranks and only pray I live up to her name, and that of RavenCrest. ::He stood there, seemingly relaxed, as he willing devoted himself to another war not his own. Then again...:: To save her from the battle... I would. ::As he thought more on the ways of war, he shook his head considering what Kendrew said.:: The ways of man... Change must always bring Chaos till it is settled. Peace, Revolution, and War... Three beats in an endless waltz that is this world. My Lord Zahak once spoke those words describing his times here. And how they were reflected all over the world. As much here as Kahnikan, Niho... Rome... It is the way of man. -d-
Lady Liliana Campbell
: While men made plans, Liliana had moved as fast as feet would take her toward the doors outside the Healing Hall. She wasn't one to cause a scene nor to argue with her husband in front of others. Excusing herself had been a wise decision. Whether Kendrew had said it or not- Liliana knew, inside, that while her husband may accompany them to Struan...he would not be staying. Instead he'd travel onto Kyleakin and fight. Would she lose her husband thistime? Would Morgan ever get to know anything of his Father? Would he see Glenna grow into a woman? Or Kylie and Roric have their own families? She wanted to rage, but didn't. Instead she stared quietly up at the sky with armscrossed over stomach to soothe the knot there. (d)
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Your Emperor is a wise man, Ah remember him in slight passing, but recall him well. I have not had the full chance of his presence. What I do know is this, that if Kyleakin isn't stopped, the men will spill backwards n' all more men fall with them. It will bleed sideways, n' longways. It will infect what peacable families are left until we are all embroiled against one another. There would still be too many who'd wish to see such at thing, and a new power born out of its ashes." He looked at the path where his wife had all but fled, fled from the reality of the world, the cruelness of it. That they should seek knowledge and be granted the prospect of this. He had survived worse, and the truth was a man at forty-three still had many years left of fight in him in many lands, and if he were as fit as he was, what right had he to peace when men ten years his elder gave of themselves? He could not leave Grufford to death, he could not leave Dublain McDonald, no matter how valiant. alone. He could not bare not to give true testimony with the eye of witness. "Take her place, it is so agreed Lee. I prayyour lady awakens, and feels not compelled by this fever to move thus. There will be more for her. More should she but find a little of what I myself have had these four years (d)
Lady Liliana Campbell
It was all too much! Liliana needed to escape the thoughts, the ugliness, and find peace. It was an ache in chest that reminded her of sweet, unsullied innocence awaiting her return at the castle. Morgan would be hungry. Yearning tohold her son and ignore the world a bit longer, to be soothed by the feel of him in her arms and at breast, Liliana stopped an attendant on her way inside. "Please tell the Lord Campbell that the Lady Campbell has returned to the castle." With those words, Liliana made her departure and the attendant went to deliver the message. (d)
Gao Jia Lee
Thank you, my Lord is the best man I have ever had the honor to know outside of my Father. He would be glad to be seen in such a good light by those who changed his life here. ::AS he followed Kendrews eyes along the path taken by Liliana spoke softly.:: Can I speak to you in confidence and trust it to stay between us my Lord? ::Looking back to Kendrew:: Yes my Lord, I will do all I can, though I may need a couple hours to retreive my armor, and Yumi, back atRavenCrest Manor. -d-
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Yes, we may speak and it remain in private, good Lee. I feel I shall have more time to pass before my wife and I see ne another again. What is it you would tell me." Not long after, an attendant came to relay the words of where the Lady had gone. He didn't blame her, his heart broke at the thought of leaving his son so young, his wife recovering. It ached that he might lose the chance at days or weeks with his children. (d)
Gao Jia Lee
::His head nodding, turning back to her.:: My Lord, I am sorry if I overstep my bounds with you and your Lady... But she reminds me much of my first beloved Noehime... Someone whose soul is too pure to be burned by the fires of war. Samething I said to Kaelyn, one night she and I lay together in a cave... Kaelyn has given me much, this land in such a short time has shown me in all honesty the worst of man... and the best. My life is of little consequence in the end. As of now when I pass on I will not join my ancestors... But I aim to live this life, and I am to protect this land. When you are ready to ride, whether she has awoken or not, I will ride at your right. -d-
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"You do not overstep your bounds, you have been in good constraint. Ye see a woman who has stood to lose everything before she ever could claim it, and now has it and stands to lose it again. Then let yo ucome with me, and you will see what it is you defend, and for whom. That it be this way I can not apologize for, so you say war, death, peace. This is the way o' men." He nodded, "Make ready with what you need. I shall call upon you, Lee. Ye will ride to Struan, then from Struan we will go to the South. I must first see my family is secure." (d)
Gao Jia Lee
His head nodded.:: And I must get what I shall need. The Dragon of the East must raise again its fire for battle, so be it. ::Stepping back a bit.:: My intention is to ride straight to RavenCrest and then back here to wait at my Daimi's bedside for as long is allowed of me. On what day do you intend to leave Struan? I will make sure I am there before you ride south. -d-
Lord Kendrew Campbell
"Then go now and return all the quicker, I do not wish to make a waste of time. No later than dawn, if it can be arranged, this very night. (b)
Gao Jia Lee
::Stepping back he again bowed and turned leaving the Lord Campbell, he turned and disappeared. Stopping by Kaelyns room, he placed a kiss to her sleeping lips, before he left her in Pahntoms care.:: Brother... I go to represent her and RavenCrest beneath Lord Campbells Baner. Please tell my Daimi if she awakens before my return in a few hours that I will be back tonight before dusk... ::With that, a shak of his sword brothers arm, he turned and left. Moving fast, the people all to eager to see the stranger gone. Moving hard for RavenCrest, as fast as his mount could go.:: -d-
Lady Liliana Campbell
