A Visit Long Overdue
AND THEY COME TO CARRY YOU HOME..
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN
SIR BROM
the pair said.
"Your sister is this way, with the children. Should we announce you, or is your presence good enough." It was good to see him home again![/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn replied, before stepping inside the room. Already he could hear the sounds of his niece and nephew. It had been some time since he saw either and it was long overdue. Entering the room, hazel eyes beheld the sight of his sibling on the floor with her very active child. Eamonn cleared his throat, doing well to hide the smile trying to push past the wall he erected; not yet.
``Such a sight to see. The Lady herself on the floor. Stories of her age cannot be true.`` Eamonn said, announcing his presence with the baritone comment.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN The stately, regal Lady of the Gaelic Nations was now beneath one Ebony Prince with the Ivory Princess atop her. Being scaled was not as terrible as it was made to sound. All the days of live were meant for this. Aodhan was so dark, with eyes
distinctly hers, while Davina favored her foremothers and Adam in nearly every way.[/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN His approach could be marked as Time's measure on him. A stronger run, longer limbs, the face of young childhood giving way to the middle of the time. Thick, dark twists held back now were far longer than Eamonn could recall, his voice no longer as high pitched!
“Uncle!" He opened his arms to wrap them about Eamonn's waist.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN With Davina in one arm, the other was opened. The floor was crossed in fewer steps than it took a child for she was a long-limbed Giantess. Familiar click of ever-present boots pattered step but what changed in her face was only the additions of more lines in the corner of the eyes from laughing! The rest of her face was bereft of worry lines for once; her hair was unbound for once and had surpassed her waist! Davina's thick auburn locks were now behind held back by a little gold ribbon. With oceanic eyes in hazel shades, she was obviously the darling of the castle wherever she went. Her arms flapped up and down. There was something in his scent she recalled, for she had not seen him much! But if her mother and Aodhan held him, surely she could play in his hair![/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn replied, and arms opened wide to welcome his charging nephew. Even with his shorter legs, Aodhan had great possession of speed. Had Eamonn not been expecting the impact, Aodhan might have made the hardy Marshal stumble! Long arms coiled around his nephew and he bent over slightly, embracing the young boy that held a large piece of his heart. Like his own children, Eamonn was just as protective of his nephew and niece.
``How quickly you have grown since last I saw you. Soon, you shall be as tall as your mother.`` And that wasn't far from the truth. A gloved hand patted the boy's head as hazel eyes lifted to see Beathag with Davina in her arms. Last he saw her she had barely been a few months old. Children grew quickly; like weeds. His smile lessened a bit, but did not die. Instead, Eamonn composed it somewhat.
``I believe that.`` Beathag certainly did have a child inside of her; further reason she found herself in trouble countless times. Extending an arm to her, Eamonn embraced his sister as well. Hazel eyes shifted to his niece, the little girl who waved her arms for excitement she might not have understood. Still, it touched his heart to see. Craning his neck, Eamonn placed a kiss to the crown of her head.
``It is good to see you all healthy and strong. Long, has it been since we last saw each other.`` And that was no understatement.[/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN Aodhan set himself to the resolution that he would make himself grow to be as many stone tall as the rest of his family. It was in his blood, they all said, to be a giant among men.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN His home had treated him well! Aodhan was the first to ask where had he gone, and did he enjoy it? What did he do?
"One a' a time, son. One a' a time! Eamonn dae ye wish anythin' tae drink or eat?" She dislodged herself but did not go far, as Davina was enamoured with hair! She played in her mother's, gnawed on her father's, and Eamonn's was a good sort to bunch in your hands. She took the world at a very 'hands on' approach, quite literally.
"Davina Aberdeen, dun make him hairless afore his time." Capturing her hands, the little girl huffed. Her game was done? What was next then? Ah yes, fiddle with mother's necklace![/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn did not know the boy's father, but if he too was tall there was no doubt about Aodhan's prosperous height. Eyes shifted to Beathag.
``I have never felt quite so rested for so long...Not for a very long time.`` With wars and battles on the rise, Eamonn's time to rest was severed. However, now, he had time to spend with his family and those he loved. The journey to Sevenwaters did more than ignite past memories. Aodhan's continuous spew of questions had a faint chuckle coming from the cavity of his chest; Eamonn patted the boy's shoulder.
``Whiskey. Aislin has already gone to fetch the children a meal. She is here as well.`` Eamonn replied, before a tug on his hair stole his attention. Sorcha had been the same, clinging to his hair. Thankfully, Beathag stopped Davina from pulling and yanking out strands.
``A fascination that she shares with her cousin.`` Eamonn admitted before turning his sights back to Aodhan.
``I went to Sevenwaters for a time with your aunt and cousin. That is the land that I and your Aunt hail from. It was good to see my homeland again...it brought back many memories.`` Of course, some were good and some were not. Hazel eyes lifted to Beathag and the smirk grew.
``There is another thing that I learned while in Sevenwaters..`` Eamonn, proud as ever, could not hold such glorious new from his sister.
``Aislin is with child.`` Eamonn's smile widened a bit. Of course, how far along she was would soon be revealed with his wife's presence when she entered.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK She waited for his answer, before she felt a little hand tugging at her own. Ocean eyes looked down to Sorcha before she gave a nod and let the little girl go so she could run into the room and greet everyone with a hug. Kieran saw his sister running away and wanted to do the same. Aislin was glad to relieve herself of his heavy weight as she leaned over a bit and allowed him to slide to the floor from her arms. He wobbled at first, then got his bearings before he went after his sister to repeat her actions. Bess would be among the first she greeted, since she had just left her husband moments ago. Arms wrapped around her sister once she was close enough to and then pulled back to greet her niece with a soft kiss to her cheek.
"It is good to be home. How be ye both?" Eyes glanced to her husband seeing that he was already going to be placed in story moments if Aodhan had anything to do with it.
"Look how big ye be getting Aodhan. Almost a lad, man.”[/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN Aodhan said this very self-assured, his words knowing their weight while Beathag smiled.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN As Aislin herself discovered, she relayed to Eamonn that people quantified just as the Isle had rebuilt with some interest! Before the conversation could get into depth, Aislin entered. Beathag only too happily took her in arms (with still one for a time, Davina was a content little fixture), marveling at the full moon of her belly already!
“'Ello lass, look at wot ye bring back with ye! A new one yet tae come n' who is this young lady n' lad here. These can't be m'niece n' nephew." But they were! Sorcha was so big now! No baby here, only little girl for certain able to conjur up mischief and mayhem, sweetness and delight! She hugged her, kissing her cheek before touching it, praising her prettiness. Keiran was off! Davina looked at him with equal parts jealousy for doing what she was learning and wanting to prattle on with him. Another wee one! Everyone else was so big! She bobbed up and down on her mother's hip,
“Aye, gae on! Shoo!" While
Set In Her Way: walking was not her forte, she managed a few steps before relinquishing to crawling (of which she excelled in speed) to go babble with Kieran and stare up at Sorcha. Aislin's hair was spared the pulling Eamonn's had gotten!
“We be well, sister, vera well." As the laugh lines and lack of age lines, the longer hair denoted.[/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN He exclaimed.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN He was delighted with this, promising to be back. Beathag mouthed a 'thank you' to Heather for the boy had energy he was like three lads at once! Davina was highly entertained by Kieran, leaving her arms for the first time in hours her own![/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Aodhan had done well the last he saw the boy on the horse; no doubt his skill continued to excel. All eyes were on Aislin and her rounding stomach, holding a precious gift within. Eamonn stared fondly at his wife with silent love and adoration. Years ago, he would have never imagined the family that Aislin was blessing him with; dreams did come true in the most unlikely way. Eamonn moved over to his wife and once she was free of hugs, Eamonn was quick to pull her close to him. His hand rested on the side of her growing stomach. Sorcha found amusement with Davina and took it upon herself to help her cousin move faster. Picking up the young girl, Sorcha wrapped her arms under Davina's and walked with the girl, or waddled with her cousin alongside Kieran. Children. Eamonn turned his gaze to Sorcha.
``Sorcha, take care with your cousin.`` He said, to which Sorcha nodded but went on to babble and chatter to her brother and cousin. Eamonn rolled his eyes but should his wife need to sit, Eamonn was more than willing to help her to a vacant chair; either way, he was glued to Aislin's side.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK Aislin asked in a slightly teasing about so many women with child. Had the people needed to seek warm in doors and in the company of their beloved? Davina was getting so big; it was always amazing to see how quickly they grew. Aislin could have sworn she just had Kieran but a few months ago, yet a year had passed since that time already. Bess looked more relaxed and happy, as Eamonn did too. Was it a connection that had been missed? No, because there had been times that Bess was happy and Eamonn was very grumpy. Aodhan gave Aislin a hug and she noticed he also hugged her belly. Smart lad to know what that meant now a day. Sorcha had been too young at first, but now she understood it meant another child was on the way.
"Very soon ye shall be taller than ah am." She commented back to Aodhan. His skin was darkening, but that meant nothing to Aislin save he was growing into his own man. In the blink of an eye, she knew himself and Kieran would be venturing out alone without the need or help of parents or chaperones. She wondered what trouble they would get themselves in to? Eyes watched as Aodhan left with the woman named Heather and Sorcha took over Davina's care while Kieran tried to help. At Eamonn's approach, Aislin went willingly into the arms of her husband and leaned against his side. As much as she did not want to sit, she knew she had to. So when he took her to a chair, she did not resist settling down into it to rest.
"It always be a surprise. But good to be home. We did nay think we would be gone so long, though ah be glad there was no wars while we were away. Skye seems settled for the most part, which is a gift after the years we have been keeping." She spoke to them both, but mostly Bess as she moved a to touch her husband's armor gently.
"Where be Adam?”[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN Beathag replied, grinning. Why it was indeed a bountiful nation. Near to every noble and simple household was expecting a child be it first or fifth for that matter! Large families were the success of a family with faces, traits, and lives to go on for generation. It, too, was the pride of a nation. The children of Skye Isle and the Nations were everything to anyone who was asked. Many great improvements were made on their behalf after the war. There were more village schools to teach the basics of reading and writing, contingents of the larger guilds in the larger villages for those who did not yet have time nor leave to reach Turas Lan. No child would be made a fool of. What outsiders would come to the nations would find fewer illiterate people as the years went by. Davina was happy as all heavens to play with Sorcha, laughing as she was helped to walk. They would teach her! Taking a seat near the pair she nodded.
"No, no wars. After years o' it a lack is a pleasent thing. We've had the fires, from the under-dark, but tha' has still gone on well in the rebuildin'. No news but the occasional diplomat or visitor. Adam is on the Isle o' Lewis, just few miles away. Stornoway has gotten quite large, n' he is reviewin it tae make sure she's well fortified n' given good resource. He's been 'ere most o' the summer n' Autumn." That was so fond for her, so precious. She'd spent much of her marriage apart from her husband, so to have so much time together, to watch him teach Aodhan and play with Davina, to jest with her was priceless.
"He should return n' a day, n' he'll leave the rest tae Lady St. Laurence tae finish."[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Suspicious by nature, Eamonn did not have full faith in the reasons for diplomats and visitors; thus far, those that did come brought with them savagery and war. Eamonn was starting to detest them. His hand slid from the back of the chair to rub his wife's shoulders affectionately.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn whispered.
``Is that negligent of me to say such? I would want nothing more than to be your escort..`` But duty was binding.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN Aodhan came to her lap to make ready to show the things he gathered during their jaunt around Skye. He opened his small box of treasure, passed his mother a cider cup, and debated on what to show first.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK Aislin pressed a soft kiss to her husband's lips and tasted the whiskey lingering on his beard before Bess spoke and her attention shifted towards her sister.
"Aye. That be my thought as well. Cormack will have a very long rest should he want it and it will give us time to settle. Ah do nay wish to rush back to my duties just yet, as ah need to catch my bearings." Aislin's eyes went to Aodhan's lap as the lad went through his box and started to look for a item to show.
"Our journey back to Sevenwaters also gave us more insight on our duties here. Eamonn had a nice refresh in horses and ah learned a few new treatments to share with the council. All things that can wait one more day." Aislin once more reached out to take her husband's hand, leaving his other to hold on to the cup of whiskey.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eyes shifted to Aislin as he gave her hand a squeeze.
``But a week...`` That seemed like a long time to a soldier and marshal who worked long and hard for years.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN At that the boy chuckled, he was quite busy!
“Ah'm sure he'd love tae show ye wot he's learned while away. The time o' peace is nay just fer some, but fer all. Ye as well." Wasn't that the truth, seasons at war only to now have a chance to enjoy it? Men of war knew not what to do with themselves! Maahes was always prepared but seemed to miss a good bout, Kendrew took to it well. Ah, yes! The Lord Guardian enjoyed his earth tilling, pipe smoking, and family life quite well![/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN[]
It was the figure of a man in his native colors, standing against a spear.
"Kendrew wittled it fer me, n' Liliana made his clothes. I wanted a pipe. Nay old ‘nough for it yet." Kendrew was very fond of his pipes, and Aodhan liked how he smelled of it, ale, and dirt. His Uncle Eamonn smelled of horses, whiskey, and dirt. To him a man seemed to smell of what he did, a drink, and dirt. He liked dirt especially. He showed the figure first to Aislin for Bess was talking to Eamonn
"I gots some for Sorchan n' Keiran, too! Kendrew's got a man who's a good wittler. He visits, but he likes to sit on his house step more."[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN[/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN
Close enough.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK Eyes turned to Aodhan as he finally found his first prize to show and speak on. The workings were wonderful and interesting for a child's gift.
"Kendrew be a master at his skill and ah be glad Liliana saw fit to dress the man. Stay from pipes as long as ye can Aodhan, they will leave ye teeth yellow like butter. People may mistake ye teeth for gold and try to rob ye of them." Aislin laughed softly at the little explanation and then Bess own before Aodhan reverted it to his own expression. He was not far from the truth.
"Ah would say hold off before giving Kierna his. He be having a fondness to eat things he should nay. Sorcha will adore them." As if on cue, Sorcha waddled the two little ones over and set them to the ground so they could keep their attention with each other. Kieran babbled on and Davina seemed intent to hear his story that made only half a sense. Sorcha moved towards Eamonn and reached for his hand that was holding the whiskey.[/ul]
SORCHA CREED OF EOHMARK She knew it was one of two things. Whiskey, or water. She had both before.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Came his reply; thank goodness for Aislin's compromise. All eyes were on Aodhan as he rifled through his wooden box of treasures and pulled out artifacts to show. Eamonn smirked a bit. Aodhan was perhaps nearer the mark than Beathag in the sense of retired; no doubt the man was tired and content with finding peace and relaxation in his home. Eyes turned to his daughter as she approached and reached for his forearm. The girl tugged on it and Eamonn arched a brow. Raised in a climate of could, Eamonn saw no harm in giving his daughter a taste of whiskey, not too much. Of course, it made her tired fast...though that might have been a blessing. Lowering his hand, Eamonn held the cup for her as her eyes widened in glee and little lips wrapped around the rim.
``A sip, or you will be sleeping for days.`` He said, and watched how big a sip Sorcha took.[/ul]
SORCHA CREED OF EOHMARK LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn added, smirking a bit as he watched his son and Davina playing some sort of game with their hands.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEENAODHAN ABERBEEN That was not his favorite at all! It got warm and moist! Ick. He went back into his box.
"N' I saw Aunt Eirian too, n' Uncle 'Pollo." He didn't put the 'A' in there. Uncle Pollo sounded funnier than Apollo anyhow! He told them of all the great stories he heard from him and a man called 'Vincere' as well as what he did there. He rode horses, watched sheep, hiked up waterfalls and all sorts of fun with the boys along the way, for there many boys there. Roric and Kiley lived just before the Valley, so he and Eirian were neighbors! Maahes lived in the Valley too, there was talk of Akane Kimbo, paper screens, and how many kids were there, and of good food Nora made. He pulled up a good bolt of the wool from Eirian's sheep to give to them, for he had his own.
She made it! It's soft. Mum puts it on me n' Davina because it makes us quiet. Sometimes she likes that." And how! Beathag chuckled more, and then he pulled up a wall hanging,
“It has a China-bird on it! Hope has a China name. She's sae lucky. It sounds nice n' pretty n' funny all at once though. Aunt Eirian knows lots of languages too! She tells the best stories, sometimes better than mumma." He whispered this like it was a secret.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEENLADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK It was strange to Aislin. Did he remember who he was? It seemed that to Bess, he did. Wait, he was not in Ravencrest, his right hand was. A right hand that Aislin did not know or had met.
"A lot of time has passed since Zahak was a name spoken. Ah be seeing why Eirian took it so well. Why after so long is beyond me. Ah be glad to hear he is alive. Ah have nay forgotten the present he gave us." Aislin and Eamonn used it for Sorcha, Kieran, and now the new child would use it.
"It has been some time since we last saw Zahak, why is his right hand in Ravencrest?"[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK He said, taking the refilled mug from the woman and swallowing another mouthful of whiskey.
``Perhaps that is a question best left unanswered. Why, after so long, is his second in Skye for that matter? Pray the man did not bring hell with him.`` Eamonn muttered flatly, before taking another gulp.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN The short version explained it well enough.
“Gao Lee came to convey these things n' tae see tha' Hope knows it, n' of her father's love. It is not known if he will one day come himself. Either way, tha' is the story. The short and important part. Eirian fairs well with it. He ne'er returned after seein' she was married tae Apollo, Gao said he chose this time tae leave her in peace, and was summoned home sae he could not stay. Nay hell comes with him." Just many memories.
“Sae long as he brings nay issues or upsets, he may say wot e'er he wishes." Beathag did think highly of him at day’s end. He had helped them fight for freedom, and he had given Eirian a babe who lived up to her name. He was a good friend and advisor, when needed.[/ul]
AODHAN ABERBEEN[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN Aodhan went out into the hall calling for Woof. What in the Gods was a Woof? It would be answered by the thunderous clod of feet coming down the hall when not one, but two Great Danes began nibble at his hair and lick his face! One was called 'Woof' and was a present from a Danish ambassador, the other was called Loki, and he belonged to Beathag simply because he went into her lap! Loki and Woof were still puppies, but gigantic things! Loki was calmer than Woof, but still excited. Who were the new folk? His tale wagged hard and he went up to Aislin first, smelling her round belly before going over to Eamonn, putting his front paws on his leg, and licking his hand. Woof was all about the children. Aodhan began to wrestle with him and play. Davina squealed, as if to show Kieran her gigantic friend.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK Aislin commented before Aodhan asked where wolf was. Or so she thought he said wolf. Had he gotten a wolf as a present as well? When he went to the door, Aislin turned a bit in her seat to see the beast come into view. Larger than an actual wolf stood, had even Aislin's eyes widening a bit.
"If that be a horse, ah never seen one like it." When the first animal came to Aislin and got closer to her belly, Aislin moved her hands down to block it's cold nose from pressing against her. As if the babe inside sensed it, it kicked out when the beast vanished. Aislin feared no animal, so it was not fear that had her blocking her belly. She was curious.
"A dog of some kind?" She asked as it went to investigate her husband.[/ul]
SORCHA CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn mumbled under his breath.
``Sure as hell took him long enough to convey his love to his daughter. How convenient, it is, that now he wishes to reveal his love...now that he is 'emporer'.`` Odd indeed, but it was little concern of his as long as no army came behind Zahak's intentions. When Aodhan asked to bring in Woof, Eamonn's brow arched. Who and what was a 'Woof'? Had Aodhan gotten a wolf pet? Not quite. The moment the monstrous animals came in, Eamonn blinked a few times. What kind of wolf was that?! Eamonn watched the large animals enter the room, but kept his eye on both...especially around his children. Eamonn did not fear the strange beast, but he was not about to let the animal hurt his children. Instincts put Eamonn on high alert. Woof was a little 'too' friendly, and when the dog came close to Aislin first, Eamonn's arm shot out to become a boundary and barrier between the dog's face and his wife's round stomach. Not HIS baby. His face was serious as he watched both canines, only to have Woof move to him and put his paws on his legs to lick his hand.
``Don't make me spill my drink; it will not bode a happy ending for you.`` Eamonn warned, lifting a brow. Of course, Sorcha's inquisition had his eyes roaming to his daughter and the other dog, especially around his youngest.
``Because he is a dog, Sorcha, not a wolf...A dog obviously not from these lands.`` Strange indeed.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN The calm one who didn't make an introduction yet, but was definitely curious. Currently, he rolled over at Beathag's feet for a belly rub. They were blue Great Danes, their coats indeed steel blue. For puppies, they were the size of Aodhan if they stood on two feet! Loki barked in delight before rolling back over, putting his head in Beathag's lap. He was also affectionately called 'Brom II' because if he saw her walking, he often followed. Guardianship in the form of the large beast surely couldn't hurt!
“Loki's a bit more docile, nay by much but enough. 'Ello friend Loki. Nay want tae play with the bairins taeday. Woof wore ye down mm?" He put himself on two paws to get his chest scratched at.
“Full grown they say they both will be the size o' a wolf n' bigger.”[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK SORCHA CREED OF EOHMARK she made known.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK she teased before Bess gave more information on the hounds. "They seem to be a handful. But they be interesting to look at and touch." Aislin started trying to lure the calmer one; Loki; towards her with a hand down and flat so her palm could be smelled.
"It be reminding me of a strange topic. If we be staying here for a week or so, do ye still have the room we first stayed in open for us and another for Sorcha and Kieran? Ah rather nay stay at the inn this time. In case anything goes astray." Such as an early labor and she thought having the children in the castle would give Eamonn some peace of mind.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK Eamonn countered, downing the rest of his whiskey to prevent any excuse to knock his mug and lose it.
``Handful? I think they are beyond that...`` Eamonn commented, watching the dogs. Hazel eyes returned to his wife at the mention of staying in the castle instead of the inn. It seemed like a plausible idea, not to mention Sorcha and Kieran would have company to play with while he was gone. Of course, Eamonn had no idea how two Danes would spark such a topic, but Eamonn didn't question it.[/ul]
MO'R OUKSELO LADY BEATHAG ABERDEEN They were cleaned up after constantly, having to be taught where it was alright to relieve themselves and where not. Told to get things out of their mouths having to be disciplined, really no different than Kieran or Davina. Woof was determined to win Eamonn over. If he got Sorcha this easy, Eamonn wasn't that hard! He let out a big 'Woof' which rather echoed in the room. True to his name! He jumped up, and if Eamonn leaned forward any he got a good kiss on the nose! Then Woof went to play with the children, whom favored him best. He kissed Sorcha's face and then Aodhan's, before rolling down for a belly rub. Loki climbed up into a shorter chair by Beathag, sitting down like he was on duty. Brom the II indeed.
“O'course ye rooms are here n' can be made ready. A visit would be good, the children need somewot tae play with...ye think these huge things are somethin? They brought me a horse from Sweden, n'..tis..well a small thing! Nay bigger this high.” She demonstrated.
"We call it Donald. Ne'er seen a horse tha' small T’was a fluke but he is all horse, runs like one, sounds like one looks like one just..small ..He's sae small he trots about the garden as he pleases, Ah'm afraid the other horses would run him o'er in the yards. Poor wee thing. Eats like regular one though." A miniature horse?[/ul][/blockquote]
