AND IN THE PAST...WE WERE NAY PERFECT...BUT WE DID OUR BEST
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" It was true. There were few things Eamonn had put his foot down and more so with Aislin. They simply never got into decipherments or had disagreements because they were both good at holding onto emotions. Eyes watched as his muscles flexed and moved under his skin while other movements provoked such actions to occur. He was a handsome man, but Aislin felt the same as she did with all men..they were more then skin and she tended to ignore the views of skin given. It was not because she was so in love with Eamonn, she simply did not get lust or experience it in any small way or form. "
Ah would like to learn still. After the babe is born of course."[/ul]
ZAHAK KUSHRENADA ::More a statement it was indeed a promise to her that he would watch over Eamonn while they were going south. His hands placed on the seats of the chairs before pressing down into it, so that his legs could come free. Rising to stand he would use the towel to wipe himself off.::
I would be honored to teach you Aislin, but I fear you may not get much practice in the art. This side of the world tends not to get the option too be open to the practices of the East. To those in these lands my peoples arts are archaic and barbaric by "civilized standards." ::He did not speak with malice nor did it show in his only eye which looked down to her, even as he came to sit at her side. After all.. the west had indeed blessed him with his beloved wife.:: [/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" His promise was heard, and she was glad to hear it, but what was this talk about going to the campaign. Aislin's eyes showed her confusion as she looked to him when he moved closer. Had news been given and she did not know?[/ul]
ZAHAK KUSHRENADA ::Reaching over he took her hand holding it. The gesture chaste in all the purest forms. It was just ihm trying to reassure her all would be well.::[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" Blunt..a bit but her tone did not show any bit of being angered or worried over such news. She simply wanted to know and since they were the only ones here and she did not know who else to ask, he had the information. His hand reaching for her own, made her eye brows lower slightly. She did not understand the gesture he was doing or why he was doing it, but she did not pull her long fingered hand from his own. "
If nay ye.. who else shall ah ask. Ah think ye should share Zahak." Blunt..a bit but her tone did not show any bit of being angered or worried over such news. She simply wanted to know and since they were the only ones here and she did not know who else to ask, he had the information. His hand reaching for her own, made her eye brows lower slightly. She did not understand the gesture he was doing or why he was doing it, but she did not pull her long fingered hand from his own. "
If nay ye.. who else shall ah ask?"[/ul]
ZAHAK KUSHRENADA ::He gave her hand one last squeeze as he rose and moved towards the bar. Truely he could not wait for summer when the ship masters promised him lemons for lemonade! Already he was downing his first glass of water.:: [/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" She curled the side of the woolen wrap up around her shoulders.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" a bucket of questions simply had been tilted and spilled out all over the place. [/ul]
ZAHAK KUSHRENADA ::the promise made to ensure Eamonns safe return was made in ignorance to her not knowing the truth. His eye shifting to Eirian he would pull her close as she neared. His lips softly kissing her own.:: [/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK"[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" she did not want to tell anyone by accident.[/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" chorused around her as loud as the horn that would call them away, the drums that would lead them into battle. Her husband's eyes..one amber, her own, sapphires looking at him. She blinked the gradient of color flexing beneath the weight of knowledge. Six days. Six! And then at least a month away, if not more. Eirian had readied herself for this..but to know the impact came before she had risen the sheild left her a little raw. No, no blame went towards Agravaine. Only an instant of anger at the heaven that dallied with her so. She put her hands to the back of the nearest chair. "
I ..know you will...return. You did so..before." her speech was a bit choked as her lungs began to burn and constrict. No, she would talk through it..she could not let the weakness win. If others saw..she couldn't abide it [/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He replied, hoping that would be the end of it and they could enjoy what time they had left.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" she whispered so it went unheard. fingers began to loose their warmth, and thus the rest of her skin not far behind it.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He whispered, frowning more as his hand rubbed her thigh.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" She needed distance, not wanting to say much more on the topic yet while she felt so aweful. She stood carefully and gave a soft nod to Eirian, Zahak and Moira at the door of the kitchen before green eyes turned on her husband. "
Have a good eve husband. Be safe." She said and moved from him and the table to start for the door and head out. Space..was best so she could control herself.[/ul]
ZAHAK KUSHRENADA ::He asked to the man, who spoke his assurance the request would be done. His arms turned Eirian around. She was taking this as well, better then he could have expected. His arms moving to once more bring her close he would softly kiss her forehead.::
I love you Eirian. [/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" She saw Aislin going away, heard their tension..but could do nothing for it. She took the wine and sipped at it..the mug coming hard on the table. "
I would you had told me yestereve...but I know..why you didnt.." Eirian was well at rationalizing, but even her husband knew, such an immediate a shock: Even she knew anger, but the rational of experience smoothed it and she had done much of late. The woods..shoppe... escaping to live, building to live.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He hissed, his strong jaw set and his teeth clenched together. Eamonn did not release her, he would not, not until she calmed down. He did not know where this sudden spat of anger was coming from, but he did not like it, one bit, and for her to brush him off and treat him so coldly when he wanted her warmth, well he simply would not have that. It hurt, but Eamonn covered his emotions well, and pain turned to anger, the only outlet he knew.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" She yanked at her arm and he did not seem to want to let go. "
Ah warn ye..let me go husband...do nay make me ask twice.."[/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" She found the will to move her hand stalling on the bar. The couple were every argument she wanted to have but could not, each side of words that assailed on the brain. "
Be quick with it, please, friend." While she went to find it, she took herself to a corner of the room. If she could, she would have made it up the stairs. Zahak had gone to attend his duties, and God forbid. Not now. Her head was hot, but her blood was running cold. The world was slow, moving in perpetual lethargy[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He spat back coldly, that baritone voice laced with anger tried. "
I did not tell you that night because I wanted you to enjoy that bit of happiness before something so somber could dash it! I deserve your respect for me to judge what is best. I will not let go of you, Aislin. You are not turning your BACK to me again. Do not try my patience, Aislin, for you have stretched it thin. I am warning you, do not walk away from me."[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" No poetry in the words or flower expression. A concise, direct order. She had to get out, she had to. The scene before her too much, as if they personified an internal war. "
Do not stand...away." He knew of what she did not tell Moira..and soon she would not be able to conceal it. [/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK[/ul]
EIRIAN KUSHRENADA" She could see as well as anyone could. A few began to whisper as they passed by. Her footsteps becoming a little more determined, pushing herself onward to the point where even her steps countered beyond Moira's. From the corner of his eye, the man that had come to be Eirian's shadow in the absence of her husband had stepped forward. "
Eirian? What is it, m'lady.." The steps dragged, long and languid to the door. Shuffle, drag. Tremere put his arms around Eirian from behind, the man's eyes looked to Moira with a fraction of desperation. The man had become Eirian's shadow when Zahak had not been, ever since the night in the woods. She called out to Eamonn, Aislin, whichever had enough ear in the world left to listen. "
THE BABY!" she pieced it together, stop seemed so useless...cease pointless. "
EAMONN, AISLIN, THE BABY!" She worried their fight would be worse than the Finbar's fall. Aislin was strong, but no one was invincible.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He shouted, tightening his grip as he carried her down the road. Eamonn could still hear Eirian, but barely as he was still trying to control his writhing wife, who was letting anger get the best of her. "
EIRIAN.." He winced as Aislin kicked him in the shin belonging to the leg that had only just recovered from Finbar's fall. "
I KNOW!" But he did not stop. Eamonn would suffer all the hits Aislin gave him to keep herself from causing herself harm. Down the path he stormed, his own angry threatening to boil over as he headed home with his wife in his arms[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" She sound each word with a tone through gritted teeth, hoping her husband would understand it would not get better. [/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He snapped back venomously, not wanting to hear a word from her mouth, for he was going to blow and errupt soon. When they did finally reached their home, Eamonn shifted her in his arms long enough to open the door. Walking over to the bed, Eamonn laid her down on her back none too gracefully and turned on his heels back to the door. He slammed it hard with a loud BANG, and simply stood there for a moment, his chest heaving as he tried to calm himself and his hot temper.[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" She said, even surprising herself as they moved through the front door to enter the cold home. It was still daylight outside, so the house was not coated in darkness which Aislin would have wanted at that moment so she could have had some advantage. Her lips were in a firm line as he moved her onto the bed, or at least dropped her onto it with less grace then she may have lowered herself down with. Quickly she turned around while still sitting on the bed, watching him storm back to the door and slam it making the bang of the wood hitting wood and steel echo in the large room. Aislin winced and felt the babe stirring madly within her. She did not move a muscle, hoping it would help to ease her. All she could do was stare at the blood that was now drying in the wheat colored hair that rested above his lips. Aislin's frown deepened as she felt the need to hit him again, finding some strange and satisfying feeling followed shortly after it. Now, she understood bar fights and while fighting felt so damn good. It made her feel completely alive, though she wished she did not feel the strange head inside of her body while she was at it. She stared at him, challenging any move he might make towards her. Arms moved behind her to prop herself up, letting palms go to the bed and fingers dig in while her legs were adjusted to be over the side of the bed. Should he move quickly, Aislin wanted to be able to do the same to the side.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He yelled, eyes narrowing dangerously into thin slits. "
I WILL BE LEAVING IN SIX DAYS AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT ME?!"[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" Her voice was dangerously low, not loud like his own, but just as deadly. "
Ye said ye would always share things with me, but then they treat me like ah am one of them. A delicate f**king flower. Ye should have trusted me and told me, not worried about sparing me a night of happiness. Ye know ah would have wanted to know instead of being kept in the dark. Ah am nay sheltered husband..ye will do will to nay start such a habit with me. What was worse..ah heard it from someone else..not my damn husband! Do ye know how that feels to have someone tell me to ask my husband and for me to be lost. Ah dun like it."[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He shouted, having lost his patience and composure. "
I do share things with you, bit TIME is not always the most convient! When I was inside of you the last thing on my mind was telling you I had to leave! That is not the sort of topic you have during sex!" Eamonn growled out, before storming over to where he threw his scabbard and to where the axe leaned against the wall behind it. He ignored the armour and maille on the floor and picked up the axe. Might as well be productive when venting. Picking up the axe, he stormed over to the door[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" she paused to try and get her thoughts together. It was so so very hard to find the old Aislin underneath all the hormones and emotions that were caking on top of her, but for him, she tried with everything she had. "
What do ye feel about leaving so soon... after all our talks..what is in yer mind now.."[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He warned, his hand gripping the axe harder, trying to vent even in the smallest gesture possible. "
Stay? Aislin, I tried to make YOU stay and you HIT ME IN THE FACE. I will get enough beatings from my enemies in six days from now, I do NOT want it here where there is suppose to be PEACE." Eamonn replied stiffly, sneering as more blood dripped from nostrils. "
I don't want you to hurrt yourself OR the child in your womb. You want to know what I feel? I feel HURT right now because you hit me in the face, you kicked and struck me, and you blatantly told me off! I'm UPSET Aislin! That's how I feel! Our talks have ended in this, and I do not like it. Now MOVE."[/ul]
LADY AISLIN CREED OF EOHMARK" she whispered with her eyes shut, fearing to see the look in his eyes.[/ul]
LORD MARSHAL EAMONN OF EOHMARK" He whispered, his hands pressing her front against his body, chest to chest, hip to hip; lips only inches from hers[/ul]
