Georyn: Normally he would not go in a place like this. Of course if you were in a healing hall where a place was to find..courtesans. He asked and so here was but just what exactly he was looking for was not particularly normal customers perused. He in no way looked out of place here, but he could only hope. "Is anyone here?" He asked, voice soft. Of course would he get a response? Yes.
Moira: Most men made claim they were not the type to come to such a place as the Lily, yet oddly she would see those who vocalized the claim rather often. He likely would not find many to offer him much help, many of the girls were off with other men who.. 'never came to a place like this.' But if he had patience, they would all find their way back for the most part eventually. Moira just came walking into the main room as he had entered, she was not with anyone for the good reason that things she found out earlier in the day were still drilling through her head, she was not much in a mood to take the company of anyone really. She had on the loose tan colored cotton servant wear for the night again, she was in no mood to even attempt to appeal to men really. Though she was far from a grungy waif either, she just looked normal tonight, as far from being all done and dolled up as was possible. She did smile to the new person however, stepping toward him. "Evening, welcome to the Guilded Lily. Is there anything I might help you with?" All this spoken as she had approached and was now ushering him to a nice comfy couch to sit upon.
Georyn: .Georyn took a look around if he could, although he wasn't sure what exactly he would do in a place like this. Well that was silly he knew perfectly well what did go on but he wasn't going to ask about that. Of course he didn't know how he was going to ask such things but he figured he might as well try. The blonde hair fell into his eyes and he moved it out of the way. However his voice was actually answered as he saw someone approach, a woman. That was of no surprise. He still showed no smile at all, he wasn't the smiling type unless he was around someone he knew and was comfortable with. He nodded to her. "Yes, there is something I could use help with." His voice still carried a heavy french accent, probably something he would never be rid of. He followed her to the couch and sat down rather sheepishly, a little nervous. "This may be of an odd request to you but I have something I would ask of you and I need a ...woman." He added, before realizing that came out wrong. "I need an opinion of that of a woman." He added quickly, realizing he had just made himself look like a fool. Oh well, it would at least give her something to laugh at none the less.
Moira: Moira wasn't in the habit of laughing at people, much less the mood. She only sat down on the couch, giving him plenty of room at the same time, she could sense the discomfort and nervousness, working in this place she had learned to read people, well men anyway, better than she had ever been able to do before in her life. "It is not odd, really. Many people seek a woman's opinion on things. It's normal with some things to need or want such." She picked up on the accent he spoke with, some people with french accents had them so thick there words were hard to understand but his she understood perfectly. "What is it you need an opinion of? I will help you as well as I am able to manage to do." Jewelry, clothes, colors, whatever it was she would offer her opinion should he want it. Honestly thankful he wanted but only opinions for tonight she doubted she could be of any help with much more than that.
Georyn: .Well where was there to start? He didn't know how to ask in such a place but there was no other place to go where he wouldn't endanger anyone. It was odd for him to even be in a place like this and those he would have asked of, his mother or his sister he could not go to now. "Well then allow me to explain." He spoke, he really only wanted to talk. It probably was odd that a man came in here to talk, but he would give it a try. "I have a friend you see, she is a woman and recently I have been looking to get her something, as a gift. But I realized...I have no idea what a lady likes." Of course Georyn was clueless about women, he always had been. It was a fault that couldn't be cared for or even condoned. He was completely clueless because it had been something he never acquired to do. His nose was always in a book or with a sword in hand but now it seemed likely neither was too happen. "She was almost killed recently and has not been feeling like herself. I had hoped to surprise her with something but I am not good at surprising those whom I care about. I fear I am a horrible liar." Yes, that was evident.
Moira: She nodded, listening as he did go into explanation but the first thing that entered her mind was the question of if he had a clue what the woman did. "What does she do? Women can be so complex and simple at the same time, where some are pleased to heaven at a man giving them a flower, others who would be more.. well.. high maintence may require gems, clothes, even lands." Woman here were hard to please unless a person knew at least a little but about them. "Tell me, do you know anything of her at all?" If he spent even a fraction of some time with this woman certainly he had to know something, a favorite color, flower, animal perhaps.. anything would be helpful at this point in trying to be at least of a tiny bit more help on her side of the spectrum.
Georyn: .Well at least this was going better than he thought it would. He honestly hardly ever thought about such things but he did know a little of her. That could be helpful. "I do know she likes to read, or at least used to. It has been far too long since I have had a conversing with her that did not involve our current..." He stopped for a moment, realizing he did not even know this woman's name. "I am Georyn, I have forgotten my manners." He stated, still the french accent there but it was getting better. He would have to work on it more, for there was always room for improvement. "I do know some. We have been friends for too long. I do know she is kind and she has a spirit, a strength in her even she does not realize." He added, but there as a hint of pride there almost, as if he was proud of her and indeed he was. "I do not think she would require lands, although I am sure many women desire that but there is not much one can do on a land, besides work it if you wish." But now he was getting off topic, and he stared at this woman who was giving him advice. "What is your name, lady, if I shall ask?" He hoped he was not intruding, but his request was certainly a different one.
Moira: "I am Moira. We both forgot manners, but I think we can call it even." She thought a long moment when he revealed some of the things this woman liked. He mentioned she liked to read, and well, unless this female was one who was extremely wealthy and able to purchase a library of books then they were like to be uncommon, the commoners could not afford the luxury of books. "You could give her a book." Books were their own little treasures, after all, or so Moira saw them as such anyway. "Find out, lest you allready know, what topics she likes to read about and get her a book on the subject." Now why could he not have said the woman were an animal lover, it was by far easier to go buy some cute cuddly little animal like.. a duckling or a rabbit.. and then when it grew up it was useful for eating too if need be! "How long have you known this woman?" That could tell her some too, if he'd known her years then a more intimate gift was allowed, but if he has only known her days, then something less personal might be the right way to go.
Georyn: A book was certainly something he had not thought of before. Of course! That was something that could work as a gift, he hadn't certainly thought of that before. He hadn't really bought gifts for women unless it was for his mother or his sister, which really was a much easier task to do. "Books are great treasures indeed." He added with the hint that he did too love them. "I have always loved books you know. My mother used to read them too me when I was a child. It seems I have always had a pention for reading." Why was he going off topic? This was no time to be going off topic. "I have known her for a few winters now, perhaps three or four, maybe even more. I have lost count it seems." He finished, not knowing how long it had been since he had met Katerina many years ago. There was much to be done still concerning many things but he would not worry about that now. "It is nice to meet you Moira. It is not often one finds a..lady amongst...a place like this." He added, although that last comment may have seemed rather rude.
Moira: She nodded, glad she was able to offer him the help that now a gift would be an easier thing for him to accomplish. His mention of his mother reading him stories reminded her of her own childhood but only for a quick moment, she never let herself dwell on things such as that. "Well, as I said, find out what she'd really like to read on and give her a book on whatever that topic may be." Moira nodded to the last of his words, assuming he would be excusing himself to leave in a matter of moments. "It was nice to meet you as well, though come here on a busier night, many of the women here you will find are ladies." And they were, most all of them as far as she knew, but that was neither here nor there. "I do hope you find just the right book for her gift."
Georyn: .He nodded with a hint of something in his voice that he couldn't quite put a grip on. There wasn't really anything he could say to her. He merely nodded and was ready to thank her now. "Thank you, for helping me. I normally would ask my mother and such of this, but I have not been able to see her as of late." He added with a slight nod of something indicating that he was thankful. It didn't make him feel any less uncomfortable than he already was. He thought that had gone well at least he had hoped it would. "I thank you again Moira." He nodded and finally left. That had gone very well indeed.
