Galen: : So far it seemed none within the Gilded Lily were that of people he knew, that very idea allowed a bit of a weight to be lifted in his chest. His stomach felt uneasy but he retained a steady brow. The not so subtle sounds of footfalls behind had him pausing, a chill running up his spine. Maybe he had found someone afterall, perhaps even Maahes? But no, it was another weary traveler whose road had been silent and perhaps even treacherous. Galen Side steppedso that the warrior may pass, carefully avoiding an abandoned chair which seemed to enjoy lingering in his way. Tanned digits rose to his lips, allowing his mouth privacy as he cleared his throat. Tonight was going to be interesting. When the women began to rise from their seats, Galen's head dipped downwards sending a waterfall of curls to their dangling deaths.: " Good evening Ladies...." : His voice was soft, a nervous uneasy whisper. What had happened to that outspoken boy? At the moment he was lost in the bakery shop down the street.
Moira: "I do try and there was much reason, all of it good." She cut off her own words at the sound of the door opening, boots thudding against the floor. A slight nod in silent agreement with Shaden, this talk could continue later, there was no rush, the deed had been done and she was rather certain no wittnesses would complain, they all seemed grateful that she had burned the house of hell to the ground. But now, she put on her welcoming look, it would be, after all, what was expected. People did not come here to observe women engrossed in conversations. Once she reached the hall she felt a slight twinge of regret that she hadn't woken Gerda, damn her for taking things on herself, she needed to change that at some point about herself, if she ever could. A warm smile and politest of nods was set upon both newcomers. "Good evening to you both and welcome." She paused after the words left her mouth, a sideways glance passed over toward Shaden, another twinge, but she didn't show it, not this time.
Ren: Dark eyes quickly began to survey the room. Landing first on a young male, though of course he didn't recognize him. He wouldn't...for he and the others here would all be strangers to him as he would be to them. Long dark strands of hair rested atop and beyond his shoulders. As eyes swept back from point A to point B, they paused again on the blond male. Watching as he seemed to step aside and allow him to further venture. Theodren however, stood where he was, lips twisting upward into an observant purse as he finally took in two women that came toward he and the other man. Jaw would set, and he gave a lop sided smirk. "Evening." He replied back as a hand came to stroke the little goatee and arms crossed his torso. "Tell me... what sort of place is this?" He asked, already having a pretty good idea upon his observance. For their was a lack of several tables, chairs, and well... a rowdy crowd. If this was indeed what he came to assume, tonight was going to be a good night.
Tiberius: *He slipped through the night, from the direction of the Gatehouse to take the mantle of his newly acquired position. Bartender when there were patrons enough, but otherwise just a general help. He moved through the front doors of the manse proper, he searched out those gathered within.*
Galen: "Thank you Miss...." : His lips were going dry again as if the moment he spoke all life was stolen from such lush flesh. The man behind him or rather now infront reminded him a bit of Maahes, perhaps not in facial features, but body in body. Galen had not even thought about the actual building he was setting foot into till now. Tanned skin barely held a blush but it was there, the sun had stripped him of that ivory tone. He took in a deep breath and settled himself at the bar . A drink sounded mighty good, who would have thought that Galen had turned into a drinker. Yes, the man could hold his liquor and leave with the blush he came in with. Baby blues drifted to the growing crowd, though his gaze settled on the Warrior. His heart was still beating as loudly as a drum, pounding heavily within the boned cavity. It felt as if it were about to leap from his throat and flop right onto the bar. It was so eerie being back.
Moira: Blues set on the first man to speak, the one who asked what sort of place he had found himself within. "This is a place of courtesans, good food, good drink, you name it, you'll be likely to find it here should you have enough coin in your pocket to pay for it." That was the catch, though nothing in this world was free as any who tried to survive on their own would certainly know. She stepped from the foyer, into the main parlor, though still in range of speaking and those nearby being able to hear her. "Fell free to have a look about." She didn't sit yet, she'd wait to make sure no one needed her first as Shay had to go take care of a few things the task of making sure all were comfortable fell to her. "Feel free to help yourself to a drink." That spoken to the obviously younger of the men here.
Ren: a Single dark brow arched in question as he awaited for one if not both women to give a reply. His hand lowered, leaving his jaw and coming to be tucked under the opposite arm. Dark eyes drifted from one pretty face to the other and he let them settle on the one that spoke up first. Slowly a smile creeped across his lips and he nodded afirmitively. "I see...well, looks like tonight will prove to be an interesting one. Makes it all the better, doesn't it now?" He replied back as he watched the other turn to tend to something or perhaps someone else. "I think I will do just that... have a look about. Make myself... comfortable."He said as he took several steps and glanced to the woman over his shoulder. Ears quickly picked up on the entrace of another. The steps much heavier sounding than that of a female. A second man made entrace, and all Theodren would do was give the man a nod. Perhaps after a look, he'd find himself with a good drink in hand.
Tiberius: *he caught sight of Gerda, and moved to her. A quiet exchange between them, and he moved with her, taking in the tour of the Kitchen, and his tour ended behind the bar. She showed him where some of the favored drinks would be. He would give a small nod and smile to Gerda, along with a soft gratitude. Deep blues found Moira, at least one familiar face in the small spectrum present. He let his eyes remain on Moira as Gerda slipped away. He offered a polite tip of his head her way.*
Galen: Galen waved down the Bartender, fingers colliding with the palm of his hand. The tender came swiftly and with a smile.: " Tonight calls for something strong. If I am going to survive this evening my throat needs to be burning." : This was all said weakly.: " I can't even thinkstraight, just give me anything." Galen was flustered beyond belief. It didn't bother him about the women, but it was just being back here. What was he suppose to say to Maahes? He had his reasons for leaving in the first place, and his Father knew that but before letter could reach back, many things in Galen's travels went wrong. His hand danced down his face, ending at his chin to cup the angular jawline. Golden coils were left to sway as subtle movements from even breathing caused the curls to inch out of place.
Moira: As all the men seemed to gather at the bar area she gave a nod to Theodren in silent response, she would let them all to their drinking, such was an important thing for males and she moved to the couch, lowering to settle herself at one end of it, one leg folded underneath herself and she took her time in observing each one in turn, mental notes taken. Odd how the moment she sat she felt as though she were instantly perusing them. Grateful Tiberius had put himself behind the bar, it was one less thing she needed worry over and she could now focus on more important things.
Ren: As the tall dak man moved about idly, he let his eyes take in everything surrounding him. Counting how many were present, where windows, doors, and near by rooms were located. His jaw seemed to shift from its fixed position as he then turned to the bar. He looked back to the woman and grinned. "And to answer what you are already asking in that pretty little head of yours... Yes... I have the coin." He confirmed, then casting a wink her way before he looked once more to the bar. "Tender... a whiskey." He requested as he took the steps to close the distance between himself and his drink.
Tiberius: *He gave a nod to the one hold his face.* As you wish, sire. *he began making motions toward a small glass, then the other joined the first, a second glass withdrawn. He offered poured a healthy ration of whiskey for each man.
Ren: Theodren looked back to the one he now sat next to. His massive form easily seem to take up quite a bit of room at the bar. Elbows came to rest on the bar top, dark eyes looked from the man to his drink and back. A nod was granted in partial to his reply. "It is indeed,... silence can be a blessing in disguise... or it can be a curse right out in the open. But your journey is what you make of it." He answered back before watching and chuckling to himself as he watched the light haired male down the drink. "From the looks of it, I'd say your journey put you through hades itself." The dark male then turned his attention to his own drink, downing it with ease and smiling with the burn. He then nodded to the tender. "Good stock you have here."
Tiberius: *He thought back to the last drink he'd purchased in the area and offered for the equal fare for the region to the men. A polite tip of his head when payment was received, which surely it was. Deep blues flittered to the first.* Another, sire? *Then to the second, a bow of his head* Your praise will be forwarded to the Mistress of the house, sire. *He looked to Moira, canting his head a moment and motioning to the bar, ready to pour another for the Gents should they choose it.*
Galen: "Yes, please..." : He offered the tender back the glass, but was tempted to stick his tongue in to gather up the last drops. His hands went back into his hair, pushing back the coils to the point where they flopped back into place: " It has been an interesting one to say the least. I left here with a goal, then over time I lost sight of so many things..." : He shook his head.: " Even in the face death I did not cower, but at this very moment my heart is ready to leap from my chest." Galen weakly chuckled, hoping the tender would pour him another round. The whiskey lingered on his lips, a sweet coating with a tingle to match. Blue eyes fell back upon the woman, she was beautiful. Her face was angelic and brows couldn't help but tense, no need to stare!
Ren: Thedren would then shift his body , slipping a hand beneath the layers of clothing to fetch the coin and placed it upon the bar. It was enough to cover the drink and a little something extra. Just because the man was what some reffered to as indigenous or others called savages, didn't mean he didn't or couldn't have the things that others had. He simply kept quiet for the moment, savoring the taste of the amber liquid before nodding and requesting one more with a look to the tender.
Moira: She caught the not so subtle hint, Tibby was invading her mind, picking out that which she was allready in the process of doing. They had enough drinking time, she rose from where she sat observing and moved to the bar, leaning in between Theodren and Galen, picking up a glass of some liquor or another, she didn't even know who's glass it was. "Whoever's drink this is, I owe you." She chuckled and tipped the glass back, drinking most of the contents, though not all but it was really close. Then replacing the glass to the bar as nice as you please, it'd take a moment for liquor to make her head swim, but it was never very bad, she had her share of a drink now and then. Glancing between all three of them. "So this is story telling night? I could tell you a story or two." If anything she was not going to be left out, though she was far from doing the best at her job but she didn't have much pratice under her belt yet either and Shaden all but left her there.. alone! What was a girl to do?
Tiberius: *The second round was offered to the one who paid promptly, with a tip.* Thank you, sire. *The other poured second with a knowing glance and an arch of a brow. The small smile that touched his lips as she swiped the alcohol of the gents.*
Galen: Oh yes, he owed the tender money. The man soon offered out the correct amount. Then the woman slipped between the pair, blue eyes dancing down the grace of her neck before he glanced back to His drinker buddy. " Story telling night? Hardly Miss. I would call it not so wise rambling on my part..." : He chuckled and let his tongue run over his lips to collect up the fallen droplets of whiskey.: " I should introduce myself. I am Galen. " That was all he was going to offer at the moment, afterall he was just starting to get his feet wet. God damn hair! It swept into his gaze like a golden waterfall, each coil perfectly placing itself to block the youth's view. Galen had changed so much in appearance, would his own father even recall his face?:
Ren: Dark eyes lifted to the tender and the warrior sort only nodded in reply. Once his glass was refilled, he was about to reach for it until the slender digits of the woman, now wedging herself between him and the other, took hold of it to downed majority of it. A dark brow arched and he smirked. "I'll collect my payment later." He replied with a smile before pushing the glass back to the tender a third time. More coin would of course follow and he half turned his body to her as an elbowed anchored his form to the bar top. He lifted his gaze to settled on what he now had a name to go by, Galen. A stern nod was given. "Ren." He replied as let his eyes come back to the woman. He seem to let his gaze move up and down along her form. A nice little frame she had... well proportioned, he wondered to himself if her hair was as soft as it looked, or even if it smelled as nice as he'd like to think.
Moira: The drink was starting to go to her head, she was no wherenear to being drunk, more or less her tensions loosened and she felt a little more brave, dropping the walls that had been up and in place around her, they appeared when Shaden had slipped out on her, the sneak! A smile was offered to Galen who seemed intent on either his feet or the floor. She extended her arm, her fingers found their way to his chin which she lifted so he would look at her. "Always look at someone when you introduce yourself.." She smiled at him. "It's to meet you, I'm Moira." Then she removed her hand, letting him go gentl. Turning her head to then shift her gaze on the one who introduced himself as Ren. "Well, you may want to do that sooner than later, the night is not near as long any longer." She chuckled, shifting her dark blue gaze onto the bar, ready to thief another drink from either one of them.
Tiberius: *A glance to the youth's glass. The boy suffered a similar problem to his own. An almost page's cut annoyed him endlessly at times, but he dealt as he could. He poured another portion for Ren, his hand a touch heavier for the generousity of the man...as well as the thievery of the vixen beside him. Again, that small secret smile. He looked to the youth, awaiting he need to refill his drink, but he would clean glasses in the meantime.*
Galen: :A blush spilled onto his cheeks, though the darkness to his skin made it less visiable to the eye. Her fingers lightly graced his chin, they were delicate and warm. Galen had secluded himself over these past years, he was determined to finish what he started and lost sight of human contact, well...at least contact that didn't involve blood and death! His lips eased into a smile, bright pearls flashing.: " Yes, Miss. I seem to have lost my manners." He cleared his throat before he took his second round. It was soon taken to his lips, though he only drank half and offered the rest to her.
Moira: She noted now that the liquor was loosening Galen up a bit, such was a good thing, the fact that even she needed a drink proved her own tensions had been rather obstructive. She chuckled and took the glass from him, lifting it to her mouth and finishing what had been left in the glass. Thefeat was not an impressive one, many people before her could drink her under the table easily, but it was impressive to her, she was never a drinker. Lowering the glass she smiled to him and handed it back. "Thank you." Ahh, she could feel the tension disappearing completely now. Going, going, gone.
Tiberius: *he poured a third for the youth once moira loosed the glass, that inward smile touching his lips. He gave a small shake of his head. He busied himself with behind the bar duties, cleaning up and familiarizing himself with the layout so he would be more efficient. He did not want to lag when it came to a busy night. He listened to Moira quietly though, noting her flirting nature. Recognizing the game from his first moments with Nairne, but... Still, there was an air of difference. He pondered his current situation.*
Galen: He smiled and took the third shot and tossed it back. A low gutteral purr fell from his lips as the burning sensation filled his chest. it seemed his heart rate had slowed and he was calm enough to openly speak and even joke. If Maahes could see him now, what would he say?: " He shurgged though: "I wonder if my Fatherwill even recall my face." : his brows tensed.: " Or even Perry. Damn look enough like him...." Galen had no idea that Perry was in here earlier, let alone knew Moira.
Moira: Looking him over now, the drink made her do it quite openly with no hiding that she was doing it. She had no shame at this moment, lifting her gaze eventually back to his face. He looked young and that look about him raised a question in her mind so she voiced it. "If I may ask, just what are you looking for here, other than enough liquor to put you on you on your rear end when you try to manuver your way to the door?" She chuckled and leaned in toward him.
Tiberius: *He remained quiet in his observation of it all. Moira was new to this?.. If only women weren't this complicated. No wonder some fellows had such difficulty. He hoped the answer he desired would come to him, him and Nairne. He did not want to hear distance was best. Though, could he handle this from her? To be here, serving drinks while she sat in Moira's shoes? Flirting outrageously with a youth whom she desired to part money? Well, it was sales... Sort of. He was playing the same wasn't? Alcohol when it was obvious the youth did not need more. He raised the bottle in question, looking to the youth.*
Galen: "One more, barkeep..." : He gave his final round of payment before looking back to Moira.: " What am I looking for here? Old friends and family I guess. I left here three years ago, searching for a person from my past that I didn't know was alive or dead." : He licked his lips and lowered his gaze, his words lightly falling in a hushed whisper.: " The faces here are so new to me, perhaps they have replaced the old. I am one of the old...." : He shook his head: " I have faced death Moira many times without shedding a tear, but my heart has never pounded so hard in my chest, like it is now. Anticipation, fear, anxiety. I can't even begin to explain what is going on in my head. So, my only clear thought was to drink and then find a solution."
Moira:She nodded, he was still somewhat sober if he could drift into more serious thoughts like that. But then, so was she if she could take it as seriously and he said it. "I understand. Perhaps you would come with me upstrairs, we can discuss it further. You can tell me more, and I can try to help you find a suitable solution." Besides that, she wanted to go change, get herself into some comfortable clothes and relax in her room, the hour was very late now and she needed to sit, relax, and such. "Unless you have other places to go this late and other things to do?"
Tiberius: *He poured the last round for the Gent, smiling inwardly* Drink well, sire. *He studied the youth. Not terribly behind in years, their situations were far similar, though perhaps the other was more battle worn. He licked his lips, slipping the bottle back into it's proper place. He did not raise his gaze to Moira, again, simply keeping himself busy with the thoughts racing through his mind.*
Galen: Galen took his final glass of whiskey and swallowed the contents before standing.: " The hour is indeed late, and no one is expecting me anywhere. Your bed will suit me just fine, and your thoughts are more than welcomed." He offered her his arm, though he would be following her! Hell if he knew where to go in this place! Wouldn't Perry be proud? Golden strands drifted back into his gaze, though he did toss a glance back at the bar keep " Thank you for your service. Forgive me, I will tip better next time....":
Moira: Moira smiled to Tibby as she stood. "Have a good night, Tibby." She laced her arm into Galen's, then paused to gave at Ren who seemed to drift into his own thoughts. "I won't forget I owe you if you don't want me to." Those words said she lead Galen toward the stairway and up, moving quietly so as not to wake anyone and stopping before her door to allow him entrance, then slipping in behind him to close the door as quietly as she had opened it.
Tiberius: Not necessary, sire, but thank you for the intention. *He would take the finished glass and begin to make busy work of washing it. Those cobalt blues slipping to Moira. He smiled pleasantly.* Goodnight, Moira.

This is the conclusion to Meeting Galen, what took place the next evening.[/i]
Tiberius: *He slipped in from the gate house, deep blues moved about the interior of the manse proper. An unfortunately slow night. Ah well. He moved through the house, tipping his head to Gerda and the others, ready for another night of working behind the bar. He opted for the poet's shirt now instead of a tunic, tucked into his breeches. He pushed his hand back through his hair, moving behind the bar.*
Moira: Moira left the kitchen, up for a midnight snack which has been eaten by the warmth of the fire. Once everything had been cleaned up she stepped into the main room of the house. Dressed in a gown that was of such a pale blue color it appeared just tinted of the hue. Hair was loose tonight, no fancy up do's or anything, she liked it better all down anyway. Noticing Tiberius behind the bar she chuckled. "Slow as things have been you probably could have had the night off would be my guess." She would only guess, not about to tell employees not her own when to work and not to. Stepping to the bar she seated herself on a stool across from where he stood behind it.
Tiberius: *He would look up, puttering as he was. His brow arching with a pleasant smile on handsome features.* At least I am here for the crowds that will come rushing later? *He licked his lips* Would you care for something, Moira?
Moira: She shook her head. "No, not at the moment. I think I shouldn't drink, it makes me behave abnormally, as I am sure you saw last night." Bits and pieces of the night before were recalled though not al of it. If she were lucky her mind had blanked out portions of the evening where she acted like a complete horses rear end. "I am still trying to remember what all happened last night."
Tiberius: *He canted his head.* It seemed to help you with your... um.. household duties? *He slipped away from the bar, circling closer to her.* You weren't... obscene or anything.. Not ever perverse.. You were just.. more open?
Moira MacArran: She wasn't sure just how to take that, such would require more information on his part. "Oh? How so? Elaborate if you would, please." It was possible her mood seemed more open but was in reality simple normal behavior but to have him clue her in to any specifics would help if he could think of any that is, it normally wasn't entirely important to make note on a person's way of acting, especially here, since acting was a big part of the job.
Tiberius: Well.. I do not exactly have a lot of background on how you are... but you were not.. as... vivacious with that man you and Nairne went with.. *His gaze flittered down, as if he shouldn't speak of these things, he wasn't sure.* I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to upset you..
Moira: "Ah, I see what you mean. The Smith has been more Nairne's .. mmmm.. patron" For lack of a better word. "Not mine, I just happened to become included from Nairne asking me to. I was far from the man's first choice and he mine." She looked at him with a slight canting of her head. "Don't be sorry, it does not bother me to speak of these things and if it did this is assuredly the last place I would be in attempt to make an escape from it. This is where all such things are found, not run away from. So never be afraid to speak to me of any of it."
Tiberius: *A gentle smile crept into place. Deep blues moved up to her again.* Is it.. different, this way of life? Or is this normal for you? *He moved closer still, taking perch on the arm of the chair near her.*
Moira: She smiled. She wondered when someone would ask her that question, knowing it had to come up sooner or later. Some people were born knowing how to do this, others were not. She was one of those who had not been born to it. "It is very different, but at the same time, I enjoy it. But before your mind wanders to the gutters, I will be more.. detailed." She chuckled. "I have never had a home since I.. left my first one. We are educated, provided for, clothed and fed. This is more than the sort of job people tend to make it out to be in their own minds. I enjoy all aspects of it. But yes, it is different. It's a competition at the same time. People wanting to fight for a top dog sort of recognition. Who can make the most and be the best at it. Women are extremely competitive natured." Damn them all for that too!
Tiberius: I have not... come across an area before where.. I happened into a place like this.. It is my first experience really... Leave it to me to be fool enough to find a house full of women educated and brilliant, none of whom are looking for the same in a man. *He smiled inwardly, then shook his head.* I understand the draw, the appeal. At least you are drawing enough resources to make a comfortable living later if you are careful no?
Moira: She nodded. Not going into detail of all the stipulations Shaden had for the Lily, none bad but nothing that needed discussing either. "Yes, eventually everyone here should be able enough to go out on their own and take on the world should they want too. But not everyone wants to. This is a safe, steady job that provides shelter and food as well. Leaving it, for me at least, would be difficult. Unless some handsome prince came along and swept me off my feet. "She smiled at the childish idea. "But everyone knows that is not going to happen. Besides, I would require a man with something of a brain, most definitely a spine, and all kinds of other standards to be met."
Ren: The tall dark Greek male would once again make his way into the Gilded Lily. This time, not just by happenstance but purposely. As he stepped in and closed the door behind him, he lifted dark eyes to allow himself to take a quick survey of those within and the activity that was occurring. Thudding boots began to carry him over to the bar so that he might actually get to enjoy his drink or drinks tonight. Then again, that may have been why he came, to collect payment from a certain Lily that owed him. With Theodren, if you promised him something, he expected it. More times than none, did people keep their word when it concerned the massive man. He was dressed much as he had the night, night before. A mixture of cottons and furs that hid many things within like weapons, coin, and other things left for only him to know and others to possibly find out. As he reached the bar, he took to a seat, waiting a moment for a tender and if none came, perhaps he'd help himself and leave the coin just the same.
Tiberius: *He gave a small nod.* Most understandably... But I would think a man of that order should find you wonderful and intoxicating.. *He smiled gently* Though.. I suppose I find myself in a precarious position considering I would not ask a Lily to leave what is providing well for her.. *He looked up to the man slipping in. He offered a polite nod, rising from his perch.* Excuse me, please, Moira. *Before the gent was across the floor, he was behind the bar once, withdrawing a glass and the bottle of whiskey. He remembered the fellow's choice from the night before.* Evening, sire. A repeat performance of the night previous?
Moira: She nodded to Tiberius as he went to wait on whoever she had heard coming to the bar. Turning to look to see whom else had come to pay a visit to the Lily. Took only but a moment for her to remember Ren from the night before and that she had thieved his drink, an IOU was recalled as well and she flushed visibly a moment, which stood out a bit amid the pale blue gown she wore. And yet, she made no apologies for it, she had known what she was doing and were she able to choose to go back in time and take it back... well.. she wouldn't have. A bright smile sent in his direction instead. "Evening to you again." Spoken to him, then letting Tiberius go about serving him should he purchase a drink this night as well.
Ren: Eyes had lowered to watch his hands at the task of removing gloves from worn hands. When they lifted, he looked to the man behind the bar and nodded. Theodren went back to removing the other glove before tucking them away. Eyes then turned, only to settle on the woman from the night before hand. He smirked and nodded to her as she came and greeted him. "Evening. Just the woman I was looking for. I've come to collect what is owed to me." He said as he flashed her a smile. The man wasted no time in getting to the point of things. He wasn't one to beat around the bush as they say. "Question is... are you where you can give it?" He began to lean into the bar, letting his elbow rest while he took careful notice in her choice of dress tonight.
Tiberius: *He poured Whiskey for the fellow, taking a step back to let the two... do as they would. Busy work busy work. Dishes and cleaning up as it were. Dum dee dum.. Nothing to see here.*
Moira: She chuckled and nodded in agreement, she had owed him, no arguing that. "Well now, that would depend on just what you expect as repayment for your drink." Such was an important thing after all, she had no idea what he wanted in payment for the drink, perhaps just to have it replaced, all sorts of things flew through her mind but she would no sooner assume one option over the other, it was better that he tell her what he expected then she could answer him on if she could give it or not.
Ren: As his ears picked up on the sound of amber liquid transferring from bottle to glass, he looked back to the tender and nodded in thanks. A glance was given to the woman as she replied and he said nothing right away. He looked from her as a hand slipped beneath a couple layers before coin was produced. Held in his hand as he spoke once more. "The way I see it... I can either pay for my own drink and collect what it is you owe me in other ways. Or.. you buy the drink owed and we talk business." Lips seem to curl in a twisted way, as if he were thinking hard on the mater and awaiting her reply. If she decided to pay, his coin would return to his pouch. If not, it would be placed upon the bar and slide toward the man behind it.
Tiberius: *He made himself busy, washing glasses, then drying. Deep blues flittered up now and again to check on the two. He began arranging bottles in alphabetical order. Anything to keep busy but also to make his life later easier. If he was to be the main bartender, then that is what he would do.*
Moira: She withdrew a coin from her own pocket and flipped it though the air to Tiberius, hopefully he would catch it and not be struck by it, flying coins could be deadly, you know! Then she turned an even gaze onto Ren. "There. Now we may speak with nothing owed to anyone and get directly down to what business it is you'd like to speak on." Ah yes, play coy, or something close to attempting it. Moira was such a straight forward person that coy didn't really work for her but now it couldn't be said she didn't at least make an attempt at it. "Would you like to speak here, or elsewhere, or even at another time?" She left all options open, for all she knew he may wish to speak to her in a months time or so. She was never one to make assumptions if she could prevent it.
Ren: He watched as she fished out a coin and tossed it to the tender. Eyes leaving her long enough to see where the coin had landed before he looked back to her and grinned. "Well, business it is then. So.. tell me. Is there a specialty the pretty faced woman has? Perhaps you dance... sing... a combination of the two? I'm sure there are other hidden talents other than the obvious." His hand disappeared for a moment before re-emerging and taking hold of the glass of whiskey before him. His head tilted, chin lifted and eyes focused on her before lifting the glass to his lips and drinking it all down. The glass was replaced on the bar top, but hand failed to relinquish it just yet.
Tiberius: *Oh yes, the coin caught as he poked his head up. He smiled towards Moira, tipping his head in her direction.* Much oblige Miss Moira. *he glanced to the glass and took hold of the Whiskey bottle once more. It tilted, though silent gaze offered question to the man. If given the go ahead, he would pour the desired amber liquid for the gent.*
Moira: Here it was then. She shook her head to the two possible talents she may have. "Not really, and not at all." A grin at him then. "My talents really aren't talents I believe, they more common abilities most have. The only real ability I have that I believe not everyone else has is my.." She didn't even want to own up to it sometimes. "limberness. And do you not dare laugh, I could explain better if need be. But all in all even that is not much of an ability." Though Nairne argued it with her. She was still learning other things too. So it was all a long process. Nairne had been working on teaching her things that were thought to be important in social matters and that would, at the same time, impress people.
Ren: The man couldn't help but keep that Cheshire grin about his lips. "That is no ordinary talent sweetheart. Just because a woman knows how to, doesn't make it ordinary. I'm fairly sure there are woman here that are able to add a something more interesting to it. " At her confession, he couldn't help but laugh. Theodren wasn't laughing at her, not at all. "Then enlighten me pretty one. Tell me... if its not an ability... what would you call it?" He looked to the man then and nodded, signaling the go ahead for another round as his free hand went back to search out that coin from previously and placed it on the counter. He looked back to Moira, eagerly awaiting her reply now. He had to hand it to her... she was... something else.
Tiberius: *He paused a moment... but resumed his work quickly. Limberness? Oi vey, work quietly, boy. The drink was poured for the gent. A soft reply again.* Thank you, Sire.
Moira: She knew he'd laugh, even if not at her directly. How could he not for how she put it? But it didn't throw her off her speaking to him. "I call it.. excellent muscle flexibility." Should she delve into it further? She wasn't sure. Not many would go about bragging over having what others considered an odd talent of being able to do things such as she could. But his question was answered, even if in the most subtle of ways.
Ren: The dark skinned male had such a smug look on his face now. This was turning out to be an interesting night after all. He had figured her to be shy and reserved. How surprised was he? But surprise as it was, it was a pleasant one. He glanced to the tender in thanks once more before looking back to the woman. "Call it what you like, fact is... it is a talent. Not all, or many women can say they possess such an ability." He then arched a brow, as if waiting for her to elaborate more on it. Unless of course she felt she couldn't speak so openly about it with anyone else around them. Whiskey was lifted, pressed to lips and downed once more. He wiped his mouth clean with the back of his hand. "If you feel you can't share more with me here... we could take this conversation in a more comfortable place. Your choice of course, as it is details of yourself you are speaking on." He said with a smirk before nodding to the tender a third time.
Tiberius: *He went back to his work quietly, though replenishing the man's glass a third time.*
Moira: Though Moira did like Tiberius, that whole limberness was something she would not speak further on around him, really the only people she would speak of it to were people who asked directly as Ren had. "Well then, if you wish we can speak in another room." Now at least Tiberius would not be trapped standing at the bar all night just to hear things he likely didn't want to hear and refill drinks. She removed herself from the barstool she had been sitting on all this time and stepped over to the side, considering which room in the house would be the most private. Her own room would be, of course, she did have those big cozy chairs in there too, but she would give him an option now as well. "Would you prefer to use the parlor or my bedroom?" Personally she would have used her room, but she sought the comforts of others more than herself.
Ren: Theodren nodded and smiled to the tender, fishing out more coin. Not just in payment for the third glass but well now he wanted the rest of the bottle. He leaned in toward the man and spoke of just that. "The bottle... leave it. " Hand placed several coins on the bar before he moved to stand, downed the glass and then reached for the bottle to bring along with him once it could be had. He nodded in thanks to the man before turning toward Moira and in a word, she had her answer. "Bedroom." He said as he moved in behind her to follow.
Tiberius: As you wish, sire. *he would leave the bottle, taking payment for it, and make scarce, the kitchen likely held some wonder he had yet to discover.*
Moira: "Good night, Tiberius." Spoken just loudly enough for him to hear, then a nod to Ren, she waited until he had his bottle then lead the way to the steps and up them. Nothing too complicated about it, third door down the hall was her bedroom and she opened the door, stepping in and far enough so he could enter after her, then once she had, the door would be pressed closed behind him.
Ren: Theodren glanced to the man over his shoulder, nodded a last time and with bottle in hand, followed Moira up the stairs and into her room. He stepped in far enough so she could see the door closed. Bottle was set down on a nearby table just long enough for him to remove his cloak and furs, tossing them over a chair close by. Bottle was reclaimed and he would idly step about, getting better acquainted with his surroundings until either of them decided to speak more about what came to mind.
Tiberius: *He would stick around long enough to make sure he was no longer needed, then he would slip back out to the gate house. once more*
Shortly thereafter[/i]
Moira: She had turned herself about again by the time he had walked his way over to where she was standing. Lifting her gaze up, she had to, he was taller than she was. She broke the silence after letting it linger a moment. "So, now that I have shown you, what else is there that you wish to speak of in the terms of business?" She lowered her tone when she spoke this time, working really, to find out just what all he wanted of her, or expected, it could be such a wide range of things that she felt the need to ask. She had learned one important thing as a courtesan, that was to find out what and all you could before acting.
Ren: It had been a test really. His remaining quiet for as long as he had. Theodren wanted to see how well she read into things or not at all. Apparently, she read him just right as she asked what was left to speak about as far as business was concerned. As he stared down at her, he took another quick swallow before he answered. "I was thinking along the lines of you showing an old man like myself what its like to have a pretty woman by his side for a time." He then offered her the bottle. "And instead of me telling you what it is I want exactly... lets change the rules for once." He smiled at her as a hand lifted to stroke at his chin and goat tee. "I'm guessing in your line of work, its not often you get to do what it is you want when it concerns a paying customer. Am I right?" He asked as his chin lifted slightly and his hand fell to rest at his side.
Moira: And people wondered why she was someone who required details. This was exactly why. "How much time do you want?" She knew that there were options set up by Shay, one woman could be contracted to a single man for quite a while. And then he brought up the idea of changing the rules. This was an interesting idea. It was true, all the woman who worked here did so under the wants and even whims of the men who paid for their time. She did nod slowly, considering. "Whatever I want to do could cover a bit of ground." She chuckled and soon after became serious. "I could easily tell you, or anyone else for that matter, what I want." Rare as it was she got to. "But I need to know if you mean what want in the span of twenty minutes or twenty hours, or a day, or for however a length of time."
Ren: She didn't seem to want any drink at the moment so he held the bottle still. The tall dark Greek male began to circle her idly at first as she spoke. He nodded occasionally, listening and understand it all very well. His gaze had left her and moved to the window in his easy stride before dark eyes settled on her once more. He grinned as he spoke. "Well, that's what makes things all the more interesting for me... as a paying customer. Letting you be the one to make the decisions, leaving me to be surprised. After all, isn't that the thrill of the game? Not knowing what's to come? I have to admit, I find that rather exciting... so much more than me simply telling you and taking all the fun out of it." He paused in his walk , standing before her face to face. "Lets start for a day or two and go from there. Besides, its not like I can't come back later in time..." He added with a smile before once again offering her the bottle.
Moira: She laughed, biting her lip to keep it back a bit. Not that she laughed at him, but at the option of doing it all her way. "Allright, I can play the game your way." She hadn't noted the bottle earlier, thoughts had kept her attention from it, but now she caught it from his grasp and took yet another drink. At this rate, for how easy drinking effected her, she could easily be drunk in no time so she gave the bottle back to him again. "Fair enough a couple of days it is then. Once he'd have the bottle she moved to sit on the foot of the bed again and pull off the breeches she'd put on earlier while thinking. "Does it start now?" Again with checking, Gods forbid she start to telling him what she wanted and he tell her it started tomorrow. Pulling her legs up to cross under her so she was sitting 'indian' style on the bed now while staring rather intently up at him.
Ren: He knew she'd more than likely get a rise out of this and that was good. Often he was and had to be serious so drinking, having good company and enjoying it all was a nice pace of change. "Good, then we've come to at least one thing to agree on." He watched as she took the bottle again to drink from it and handed it back. Eyes followed her as she turned to head off to the bed and began to remove her breeches. At her question, he laughed but then nodded before replying. "I am here... am I not?" Asked with a sense of playfulness. He then downed what little was left of the whiskey and moved closer to the bed after leaving the bottle on a nearby table to the bed. Once he reached the foot of it, he bent, placing his hands upon it and meeting her gaze. His head titled, his eyes trailed over her features of her face before settling on her eyes again. His own narrowed as if silently studying her and finally he spoke. "Are you ready pretty one?"
Moira: She had a feeling this new thing, new for her anyway, would be something she could enjoy doing. A grin crossing her over her serious expression slowly. "Well, I'd have to agree, you are indeed here." Her intent stare broke too when he moved toward her bed after ridding himself of the bottle and she moved over on the bed, making room should he want to sit. Granted he gave her more command but she was not about to treat him as a pet either. "As ready as I'll ever be." Her mind going over just what did she want? She never had the option before now, it was almost disconcerting. "If I get the go ahead now then you could remove your boots and sit and make yourself comfortable again." It would help were he at ease, reading him, his reactions, everything, would be easier if he were as relaxed as she was, though she could blame it on the drink too for the easing of any tensions she might have felt earlier.
Ren: As he saw that grin of hers, she received one in return. His eyes left hers as he noted her making room for him. "Good..." He said as she let him know she was at least ready. He straightened up, moved around to the side of the bed and removed his boots as she suggested. His action undoubtedly his response to whether she was getting the go ahead or not. He sat there now, rolling his head to relieve some of the tension that had built up during this last journey. As he did, she was sure to hear a few pops here and there before he glanced to her over his shoulder and smiled. Theodren was relaxed and soon, she'd be able to read him enough to where it would put her mind at ease. The man was huge. He was six foot three at roughly two hundred and fifty pounds. He was lean, muscular and well built. His skin, hair, and eyes all dark. There were several braids in all sizes within his hair. He had an ear-ring, tattoos, scars, and weapons. It was easy to tell, or it should be, what kind of man he was. A warrior, a fighter, though not a Knight. His features seem to make him stand out no matter where he went, so it had become something he was use to by now. The stares, the whispers, the dirty looks. None of it bothered him and in fact, he'd respond by either two ways. Looking to you and flashing a pearly white smile in a canty manner or ignore you completely.
